Jacques-Yvan Morin
Jacques-Yvan Morin, (born July 15, 1931 in Quebec City, Quebec) is a former professor of law and a politician in Quebec, Canada. Morin graduated from the McGill University Faculty of Law with a BCL in 1953, where he was the founder of the ''McGill Law Journal''. He taught international and constitutional law at Université de Montréal from 1958 until 1973. He was deputy director of the Canadian Yearbook of International Law from 1963 to 1973 and founded the Quebec Journal of International Law in 1984. From 1966 to 1969, he chaired the Estates General of French Canada and joined in 1970 the Quebec sovereignty movement. He became president of the ''Mouvement national des Québécois'' in 1971. He failed to win a seat in Bourassa in the 1970 Quebec provincial election but won a seat in the riding of Sauvé in the 1973 election. Yvan Ylieff ( bg, Иван Илиев, ''Ivan Iliev''; born 8 March 1941) is a Belgian politician of the Francophone Socialist Party. Ylieff was born in Verviers, Liège, to a Bulgarian emigrant family. Yvan Randriasandratriniony is a Madagascar, Malagasy politician. He served in the government of Madagascar as Minister of Agriculture, Breeding and Fishing from March 2002 to January 2004 and Minister of Decentralization and Regional Planning from January 2007 to April 2008. Yvan Patry (1948–1999) was a Canadian documentary filmmaker. Yvan was born in Iroquois Falls, Ontario. During the 1970s he worked as a professor at Montmorency College in Laval, Quebec, where he produced several educational films. Yvan's short film ''Octobre 68'' was included in the SRC's public television series "Les temps changent". The NFB produced his first feature ''Ainsi soient-ils'' - a fiction film centered on Quebec youth and the new cultural mentality that came about after 1968. In 1974 Yvan Patry teamed with Bernard Lalond, Roger Frappier, Guy Bergeron, and André Gagnon to direct ''On a raison de se révolter'', a film on workers' conflicts that was intended to politicize Quebec workers.
