2008 ACB Playoffs
The 2008 ACB Playoffs was the final phase of the 2007-2008 ACB season. It started on Thursday, May 15, 2008, and ran until Tuesday, June 3, 2008. A change in the schedule was introduced in this season: Quarterfinals and Semifinals series were 3-match rounds instead of the 5-match rounds used in the previous years. This modification had apparently revealed to be quite significant, since the first (Real Madrid) and the second ( DKV Joventut) classifieds of the Regular Season were surprisingly out earlier than it was expected. Final series brought face to face TAU Cerámica and AXA FC Barcelona for the first time in ACB history (although, curiously, there has always been one of these two teams separately in a Final since the 1993–94 season). Víctor Sada Remisa (born 8 March 1984), commonly known as Víctor Sada, is a Spanish former professional basketball player. He is a 1.92 m (6 ft 3¾ in) tall point guard. He is right-handed. Erik Daniels
Erik Christopher Daniels (born April 1, 1982) is an American former professional basketball player. He has played for the Sacramento Kings of the NBA, along with the Fayetteville Patriots and the Erie BayHawks of the NBA D-League. He played his college basketball at the University of Kentucky. College career After graduating from Princeton High School in Sharonville, Ohio, Daniels went on to the University of Kentucky, where he played his way into the starting lineup his junior and senior year. Professional career After going undrafted in the 2004 NBA draft, Daniels was signed by the Kings as a free agent. Marc Gasol
Marc Gasol Sáez (, ; born January 29, 1985) is a Spanish professional basketball player for Bàsquet Girona of the Liga ACB. The center is a two-time All-NBA Team member and a three-time NBA All-Star. He was named the NBA Defensive Player of the Year with the Memphis Grizzlies in 2013, and won an NBA championship with the Toronto Raptors in 2019. Gasol was drafted 48th overall by the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2007 NBA draft. Jérôme Moïso (born 15 June 1978) is a French former professional basketball player. College career He played college basketball at UCLA with the UCLA Bruins. Professional career A forward-center who has played in the NBA, Moïso was selected 11th overall in the 2000 NBA draft by the Celtics in 2000, and has played for the NBA clubs the Boston Celtics, Charlotte Hornets, New Orleans Hornets, Toronto Raptors, New Jersey Nets and Cleveland Cavaliers. Boniface N'Dong (born September 3, 1977) is a Senegalese retired basketball player and current coach. Currently, he is the head coach of the Senegal national basketball team. Born in M'Bour, Senegal, he also holds German citizenship. Professional career N'Dong had previously planned to enter the NCAA with an American college in hopes to gain major exposure.
