Víctor Sada
Víctor Sada Remisa (born 8 March 1984), commonly known as Víctor Sada, is a Spanish former professional basketball player. He is a 1.92 m (6 ft 3¾ in) tall point guard. He is right-handed. Professional career Sada joined the Spanish ACB League club FC Barcelona's senior team during the 2003-04 season. He then moved to Girona in 2006. He returned to FC Barcelona in 2008. National team career Sada has also been a member of the senior men's Spain national team. He played at the EuroBasket 2011 and won a silver medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics. CB Girona
Club Bàsquet Sant Josep was a professional basketball team based in Girona, Catalonia, Spain. History The club was founded in 1962 by Ramon Sitjà as CB Sant Josep. In 1989 it became the Anonymous Sport Association (SAD). In 1987, when the ACB was enlarged to 24 teams, CB Girona entered the first division. In 1991, the club had to buy the rights of the Granollers EB to stay in the ACB as they were going to be relegated to the second division. In 2007, Girona won the FIBA EuroCup championship, which was hosted at Palau Girona-Fontajau arena. They beat Azovmash Mariupol in the final after having beaten Adecco Estudiantes in the semifinals. After the end of the 2007–2008 season, CB Girona suffered serious economic problems, with a debt of over €6 million euros. The Spain men's national basketball team ( es, Selección Española de Baloncesto) represents Spain in international basketball competitions. They are managed by the Spanish Basketball Federation, the governing body for basketball in Spain. Spain is the current World and European champion. The Supercopa de España de Baloncesto (English: ''Spanish Basketball Supercup'') is a Spanish annual men's professional basketball competition. The competition is a super cup tournament. History The Supercopa was created in 1984 by the recently established Asociación de Clubs de Baloncesto (ACB) in which the league winner faces the cup winner in a single-game final.
