2005 Victory Shield
The Victory Shield 2005 was the 60th edition of the Victory Shield, an annual football tournament competed for by the Under 16 level teams of England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales. It was held from 6 October to 25 November 2006 and was shared by England and Wales. Victory Shield
The Victory Shield is an annual football tournament competed for by the under-16 teams of Scotland, Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland and Wales. The Victory Shield had traditionally been competed for by the four Home Nations, but the Football Association withdrew the England team from the tournament "for the foreseeable future" in 2015. The competition was continued after England's withdrawal, with the Republic of Ireland taking their place. Gary Glen (born 22 March 1990) is a former Scottish professional footballer who played as a forward. He has previously played for Heart of Midlothian, Ross County, Livingston and Cowdenbeath. Career Hearts Born in Livingston, West Lothian, Glen – a former pupil of Broxburn Academy – joined Heart of Midlothian from their youth academy system in 2006. Nathan John Porritt (born 9 January 1990) is a former English footballer. He started his career with his hometown club Middlesbrough where he attracted interest from Chelsea despite never featuring for the first-team. Ross Perry (born 7 February 1990) is a Scottish footballer who plays as a centre back for Darvel. He has previously played for Rangers, Oxford United, Falkirk, Raith Rovers, Northampton Town, Brechin City, Clyde, Albion Rovers and Dumbarton. Daniel Lee Rose (born 2 July 1990) is an English professional footballer who plays as a left-back. He last played for EFL Championship club Watford.
