2005 Tipperary Senior Hurling Championship ...
The 2005 Tipperary Senior Hurling Championship was the 115th staging of the Tipperary Senior Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Tipperary County Board in 1887. Toomevara were the defending champions, however, they were defeated by Thurles Sarsfields at the quarter-final stage. On 16 October 2005, Thurles Sarsfields won the championship after a 1-17 to 0-15 defeat of Drom-Inch in the final at Semple Stadium. It was their 29th championship title overall and their first title since 1974. 1974 Tipperary Senior Hurling Championship
The 1974 Tipperary Senior Hurling Championship was the 84th staging of the Tipperary Senior Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Tipperary County Board in 1887. The championship ran from 19 May to 13 October 1974. Roscrea entered the championship as the defending champions. The final was played on 13 October 1974 at Semple Stadium in Thurles, between Thurles Sarsfields and Silvermines, in what was their first ever meeting in the final. Thurles Sarsfields won the match by 3–06 to 1–10 to claim their 28th championship title overall and a first title in nine years. Cappawhite GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club is located in the village of Cappawhite, County Tipperary, bordering on County Limerick in Republic of Ireland, Ireland. Kiladangan GAA is a Tipperary GAA club which is located in County Tipperary, Ireland. Hurling is the main sport which is played in the "North Tipperary" divisional competitions. The club is centred on the village of Puckane but includes the areas of Ballycommon, Monsea and Dromineer near Nenagh. Moneygall GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in County Tipperary in Republic of Ireland, Ireland. Both hurling and Gaelic football are played in the North Tipperary divisional championships, although the club is mainly known for hurling.
