Nenagh Éire Óg GAA is a Tipperary GAA club which is located in County Tipperary, Ireland. Both hurling and Gaelic football are played in the "North-Tipperary" divisional competitions. The club is centred on the town of Nenagh. MacDonagh Park is a GAA stadium in Nenagh, County Tipperary, Ireland. Tipperary Junior A Hurling Championship
The Tipperary Junior A Hurling Championship is an annual championship of hurling for male players in the junior grade and is organised by the Tipperary County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). The championship has been awarded almost every year since the first tournament in 1910. The series of games is played during the autumn months with the final currently being played in November. The championship has always been played on a straight knock-out basis whereby once a team loses they were eliminated from the series. Hurling ( ga, iománaíocht, ') is an outdoor team game of ancient Gaelic Irish origin, played by men. One of Ireland's native Gaelic games, it shares a number of features with Gaelic football, such as the field and goals, the number of players and much terminology. The same game played by women is called camogie ('), which shares a common Gaelic root. Jake Morris (born 13 May 1999) is an Irish hurler who plays for Tipperary Senior Championship club Nenagh Éire Óg and at inter-county level with the Tipperary senior hurling team. He usually lines out as a right wing-forward. Playing career Nenagh CBS Morris first came to prominence as a hurler with Nenagh CBS. Barry Heffernan (born 26 August 1995) is an Irish hurler who plays for Tipperary Senior Championship club Nenagh Éire Óg and at inter-county level with the Tipperary senior hurling team. Michael Heffernan (hurler)
Michael Heffernan is an Irish sportsperson. He plays hurling with his local club Nenagh Éire Óg and with the Tipperary senior inter-county team. Career Heffernan won two All-Ireland Minor Hurling medals in 2006 and 2007. He made his National Hurling League debut as a substitute against Limerick in 2010, scoring a point from play. Hugh Maloney
Hugh Maloney (born 1 July 1983) is an Irish sportsperson. He plays hurling with his local club Nenagh Éire Óg and with the Tipperary senior inter-county team. In 2009, he was in the team that was runners-up in the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship. Early life Hugh Maloney was born in Nenagh, County Tipperary in 1983. He was educated locally and from a young age he showed a great interest in hurling. Maloney later attended the Waterford Institute of Technology. Here his hurling skills came to the fore when he won three Fitzgibbon Cup titles in 2003, 2004 and 2006 when he was joint captain. Conor O'Donovan
Conor Matthew O'Donovan (born 7 February 1962) is an Irish retired hurler. His league and championship career with the Tipperary senior team lasted seven seasons from 1984 to 1991. Born in Effin, County Limerick, O'Donovan was raised in a strong hurling family. His uncle, Terry Moloney, was an All-Ireland runner-up with Tipperary in 1960. O'Donovan first played competitive hurling with the Effin club at juvenile and underage levels. Michael Cleary (hurler)
Michael Cleary (born 16 August 1966) is a former Irish sportsperson. He played hurling with his local club Nenagh Éire Óg and with the Tipperary senior inter-county team in the 1980s and 1990s. Early life Michael Cleary was born in Nenagh, County Tipperary in 1966. He is the only son of Peg and James Cleary, he was educated locally and later worked in the family newsagent and restaurant. He has two sisters. Playing career Club Cleary played his club hurling with his local Nenagh Éire Óg club and enjoyed much success. In the 1980s he won under-16 and under-21 county medals with the club, as well as North Tipperary, county junior medals and a senior League Division medal.
