2005 3000 Pro Series
The 2005 3000 Pro Series was the inaugural season of what later would become the International Formula Master racing series. The season consisted of eight rounds, beginning on 10 April at the ACI Vallelunga Circuit and finishing on 9 October at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza. 10 different teams and 26 different drivers competed. In this one-make formula all drivers had to utilize Lola B99/50 chassis and Zytek engines. International Formula Master
International Formula Master, also known as Formula Super 2000, was a European-based junior single seater formula. The series was conceived as a competitor for Formula Three and made its debut at Valencia in 2007. European television channel Eurosport were backing the series and the series regularly supported the World Touring Car Championship during its European races. The championship started in 2005 as the 3000 Pro Series, organised by Peroni Promotion and based in Italy; it used Lola B99/50 chassis alongside 2002 cars. MTC Organisation took over for 2006 and renamed it F3000 International Masters, running a support series to the WTCC. In 2007 this series changed regulations, with N.Technology now running technical operations for MTC Organisation, and it became the International Formula Master. Davide Valsecchi
Davide Valsecchi (born 24 January 1987) is an Italian former racing driver and the 2012 GP2 Series champion. Career Formula Renault Valsecchi drove in Renault-based series from 2003 to 2007, rising from Italian Formula Renault and the Formula Renault Eurocup to the more powerful cars of the World Series by Renault in 2006. He won one race in the categories during this period, in the WSR during the 2007 season. Khalil Beschir
Khalil Beschir (born 18 June 1983) is a Lebanese motorsport entrepreneur and Motorsport development consultant, as well as a former racing driver. Early years Beschir was born in Bhersaf, Lebanon. As a child, he started to watch Formula 1 on television and quickly developed a passion for the sport – vowing to become a professional racing driver. Pro Motorsport (Italian Racing Team)
Pro Motorsport is an auto racing team based in Italy. History International Formula Master Pro Motorsport raced in International Formula Master from its inaugural season in 2005 up until the end of the 2008 season. In 2005, with the series known as the 3000 Pro Series, Pro Motorsport performed solidly and their driver Max Busnelli was eventually crowned joint-champion with Norbert Siedler, both on 49 points and with identical race finishing positions. Busnelli collected two wins for the team on his way to the drivers' title. The team finished third in the overall standings. The renamed 2006 F3000 International Masters season saw Pro Motorsport finish second in the teams' standings and they collected another win, from driver Davide di Benedetto. Robert "Robbie" Kerr (born 26 September 1979 in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire) is a British racing driver. In 2002, Kerr won the British Formula 3 championship. Career Early career In 2002 he became the British Formula Three Champion for Alan Docking Racing with 306 points ahead of Australian racing driver James Courtney. Following an abortive attempt at International Formula 3000 in 2003, Kerr did not race again until 2004 when he raced in the Formula Renault V6 Eurocup. At the opening round at Monza Kerr had earned pole position but mechanical problems forced him out. He eventually won a race at the last race of the season in Valencia. Scott Mansell (born 1 October 1985) is a former British racing driver and YouTube personality. He is not related to British Formula One champion Nigel Mansell. In June 2015, he started the Driver61 YouTube channel, presenting videos primarily about Formula 1 and autosport in general. Dominik Jackson (born 21 April 1984 in Scampton, Lincolnshire) is a British racing driver. He started his career in UK karting, before going to Germany to compete in the Formula BMW ADAC Series. Team John Village Automotive (Team JVA) is a British motor racing team founded by the former Formula Ford champion John Village in 1980 and headquartered in Chesterfield, England. History The team was founded as a garage and race preparation business.
