Team JVA
Team John Village Automotive (Team JVA) is a British motor racing team founded by the former Formula Ford champion John Village in 1980 and headquartered in Chesterfield, England. History The team was founded as a garage and race preparation business. In the 1980s JVA ran in Formula Ford, winning the Spanish championship with Victor López Ferraz and at international level, by winning the Formula Ford Festival with Vincenzo Sospiri in 1988. In the 1990s, the team entered Formula Vauxhall Lotus. Kelvin Burt won the 1991 championship and Oliver Gavin was runner-up in 1992. JVA ran also in Formula Vauxhall Junior and won the championship in 1996 with Tim Mullen. Team JVA have been involved in Italian Formula 3000/Euro Formula 3000 since 1999, at first in collaboration with Edenbridge Racing, Arden Team Russia, B&C Competition, and on its own since 2002. 2007–08 A1 Grand Prix Season
The 2007–08 A1 Grand Prix season was the third in the relatively short history of the championship. Teams All teams used same A1 Grand Prix car including Zytek-powered, Cooper Avon-shod and Lola A1GP chassis. The following 22 teams are competitors in the 2007–08 championship : Swiss drivers Rahel Frey and Natacha Gachnang are the two first females to drive A1 Grand Prix cars this season. Their first steps were test drivers during Silverstone, September 18–19, 2007, test session. 2006–07 A1 Grand Prix Season
The 2006–07 A1 Grand Prix season was the second season for the A1 Grand Prix series. It began on 1 October 2006, at Circuit Park Zandvoort, and the season ended at Brands Hatch on 29 April 2007. A1 Team Germany won it with 128 points, 35 points lead ahead Team New Zealand. Teams 24 teams, each representing a different country, signed up for the second A1 Grand Prix season. All teams and drivers competed in Zytek-powered, Cooper Avon-shod and Lola A1GP chassis. Gibson Technology is an automotive and motorsport company based at Repton, Derbyshire, England. It was founded by Bill Gibson as "Zytek Engineering" in 1981. Lola Cars
Lola Cars International Ltd. was a British race car engineering company in operation from 1958 to 2012. The company was founded by Eric Broadley in Bromley, England (then in Kent, now part of Greater London), before moving to new premises in Slough, Buckinghamshire and finally Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, and endured for more than fifty years to become one of the oldest and largest manufacturers of racing cars in the world. 2005–06 A1 Grand Prix Season
The 2005–06 A1 Grand Prix season was the inaugural season for the A1 Grand Prix series. It began on 25 September 2005, and finished on 2 April 2006 after eleven races. This first season was won by A1 Team France on 12 March 2006. Teams 25 teams, each representing a different country, signed up for the first A1 Grand Prix season. All teams used a control chassis (Lola A1GP), engine (Zytek) and tyre (Cooper Avon). International Formula Master
International Formula Master, also known as Formula Super 2000, was a European-based junior single seater formula. The series was conceived as a competitor for Formula Three and made its debut at Valencia in 2007. European television channel Eurosport were backing the series and the series regularly supported the World Touring Car Championship during its European races. The championship started in 2005 as the 3000 Pro Series, organised by Peroni Promotion and based in Italy; it used Lola B99/50 chassis alongside 2002 cars. MTC Organisation took over for 2006 and renamed it F3000 International Masters, running a support series to the WTCC. 2005 3000 Pro Series Season
The 2005 3000 Pro Series was the inaugural season of what later would become the International Formula Master racing series. The season consisted of eight rounds, beginning on 10 April at the ACI Vallelunga Circuit and finishing on 9 October at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza. 10 different teams and 26 different drivers competed. In this one-make formula all drivers had to utilize Lola B99/50 chassis and Zytek engines. It was won jointly by Austrian Norbert Siedler and Italian Massimiliano Busnelli. B&C Competition
B&C Records (which stood for Beat & Commercial) was a British record label run by Trojan Records' owner, Lee Gopthal. It existed primarily between May 1969 and September 1972. In 1971, the progressive and folk artists that were still signed to the label were moved over to B&C's new Pegasus Records imprint (which later became Peg), though singles continued to be issued on the B&C label until 1972. Pegasus Records released 14 albums before closing down in 1972, after which most of the artists moved over to Mooncrest Records label. Mooncrest had started out as Charisma Records's publishing company, but had become a record label in its own right in 1973. It reissued some of the original Pegasus releases.
