The 2003 Swedish speedway season was the 2003 season of motorcycle speedway in Sweden. Individual Individual Championship The 2003 Swedish Individual Speedway Championship final was held in Hagfors on 2 August. Stefan Dannö won the Swedish Championship. The final was held under the format whereby there was preliminary event, main event, semi final and final. Key *points per race - 3 for a heat win, 2 for 2nd, 1 for third, 0 for last *ef - engine failure *t - tape touching excluded *u - fell *w - excluded U21 Championship Freddie Lindgren won the U21 championship. Team Team Championship Kaparna won the Elitserien and were declared the winners of the Swedish Speedway Team Championship for the third time. The Kaparna team included Ryan Sullivan, Jaroslaw Hampel, Joonas Kylmäkorpi and Peter Karlsson. Vetlanda became VMS Elit. Piraterna won the Allsvenskan. Ryan Geoffrey Sullivan (born 20 January 1975, in Fitzroy, Victoria) is a retired Australian international Motorcycle speedway rider who has won the Australian senior, Under-21, and Under-16 championships during his career. Sullivan achieved a career best third in the 2002 Speedway Grand Prix, winning two of the ten Grand Prix run during the year. Elitserien (literally, "The Elite Series") ( sv, Elitserien i speedway) is the highest league in the league system of speedway in Sweden and currently comprises the top 7 Swedish speedway teams. The Swedish Speedway Team Championship is the team championship of speedway in Sweden. Season by season History The Championship was introduced in 1950. In 1982 the Championship was renamed with a new league called the Elitserien being introduced. previously the highest league had been known as the Allsvenskan but since 1982 it has been the second tier of Swedish speedway. Jonas Davidsson
Jonas Davidsson (born 7 August 1984 in Motala, Sweden) is a former motorcycle speedway rider from Sweden and he was a member of Swedish national team. Career Davidsson came to prominence after reaching three World Under 21 finals in 2003, 2004 and 2005. He also won the Swedish Junior Speedway Championship in 2005. He signed for his first British team Reading Racers for the 2003 Premier League speedway season and his first Polish team Zielona Góra in 2006. In 2008, Davidsson experienced arguably his fineest career achievement when he won a bronze medal representing Sweden at the 2008 Speedway World Cup. Emil Karl Leif Kramer (14 November 1979 to 9 December 2009) was a motorcycle speedway rider from Sweden. Career Kramer came to prominence in 2000 when he reached the final of the 2000 Speedway Under-21 World Championship, where he secured a seventh-place finish. He began his British league career in 2002, when he signed for King's Lynn Stars, King's Lynn Silver Machine for the 2002 Elite League speedway season and Hull Vikings for the 2002 Premier League speedway season. Magnus Erik Karlsson (born 28 December 1981) is a Swedish international motorcycle speedway rider who rides in the Premier League in the UK for the Leicester Lions.
