It began on 13 April 2003, at Autódromo Internacional Orlando Moura at Campo Grande and ended on 16 November at Autódromo Internacional Nelson Piquet in Brasília. Formula 3 Sudamericana
Formula 3 Sudamericana was a South American Formula Three championship. It was inaugurated in 1987 and primarily held races in Brazil and Argentina, with a small number of events held in other countries across the continent. Its most notable graduates include former Formula One drivers Nelson Piquet Jr., Ricardo Zonta and Christian Fittipaldi, four-time Indianapolis 500 winner Hélio Castroneves, and Champ Car champion and former F1 driver Cristiano da Matta. The series was replaced for 2014 by the Brazilian Formula Three Championship, which focuses on Brazilian circuits and drivers. Rodrigo Ribeiro (born January 25, 1979 in Rio de Janeiro) is a Brazilian racing driver. Career Start Ribeiro started his career in Fórmula Turismo, a popular touring race category, winning 3 races in his first year in 2000. He moved to the top category in 2001 named "Turismo N" where he was able to win four more races finishing in the top three positions. Alberto "Betinho" Valério (Ipatinga, 6 September 1985) is a Brazilian racing driver. Career Formula Three Valerio drove in the Formula Three Sudamericana championship from 2003 to 2005, winning the title in his final year of the category. Lucas Tucci di Grassi (born 11 August 1984) is a Brazilian professional racing driver who competes in the FIA Formula E World Championship for Mahindra Racing. He became the FIA Formula E Champion in 2016–2017, achieved three overall podiums at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and won the Macau Grand Prix in 2005.
