2000 Iraqi Elite Cup
The Tenth Mother of all Battles Championship ( ar, بطولة أم المعارك العاشرة), commonly referred to as the 2000 Iraqi Elite Cup ( ar, كأس النخبة العراقي 2000), was the tenth occurrence of the Iraqi Elite Cup. The competition was organised by the Iraq Football Association and the top eight teams of the 1999–2000 Iraqi First Division competed in the tournament. The competition started on 3 December 2000 and ended on 15 December 2000 where, in the final, held at Al-Shaab Stadium, Al-Shorta defeated Al-Zawraa 1–0. Husham Mohammed Fayadh Al-Dulaimi ( ar, هشام محمد فياض الدليمي, simply known as Husham Mohammed, born 10 May 1974 in Ramadi, Iraq) is a former Iraqi football striker who last played for Al-Karkh in Iraq. Al-Zawraa Stadium
Al-Zawraa Stadium ( ar, ملعب الزوراء) is a newly built stadium in Baghdad, Iraq. It is currently used mostly for football (soccer), football matches and is the home of Al-Zawraa SC. The stadium was inaugurated in February 2022 and seats 15,443 spectators. History It is located in a residential area in the middle of Baghdad. The old stadium held 15,000 people and was built in 1978. In 2011, the construction of a new stadium for Al-Zawraa SC was announced to replace the old stadium and to provide modern sports facilities for the population of Baghdad. Al-Karkh Stadium
Al-Saher Ahmed Radhi Stadium ( ar, ملعب الساحر احمد راضي, lit=''Magician Ahmed Radhi Stadium'') is a multi-use stadium in Baghdad, Iraq. It is used mostly for football matches and serves as the home stadium of Al-Karkh. The stadium holds 5,150 people. The stadium was originally called Al-Mansour Local Administration Stadium and was renamed Al-Rasheed Stadium when Al-Rasheed SC took over the ground in 1984. It became known as Al-Karkh Stadium after Al-Karkh replaced the dissolved Al-Rasheed in the top division in 1990. Nashat Akram Abid Ali Al-Eissa ( ar, نشأت أكرم عبد علي العيسى) (born 12 September 1984) is a former Iraqi professional footballer.
