PGA Tour
The PGA Tour (stylized in all capital letters as PGA TOUR by its officials) is the organizer of professional golf tours in the United States and North America. It organizes most of the events on the flagship annual series of tournaments also known as the PGA Tour, as well as PGA Tour Champions (age 50 and older) and the Korn Ferry Tour (for professional players who have not yet qualified to play on the PGA Tour), as well as PGA Tour Canada, PGA Tour Latinoamérica, and PGA Tour China. Guy Hill (golfer)
Guy Hill (born 14 December 1959, in Road Town, Tortola) is a former sprinter from the British Virgin Islands. Hill was part of the first ever team to represent British Virgin Islands at the Summer Olympics when he competed in the 1984 Summer Olympics. He entered the 100 metres sprint and in his heat he ran a time of 11.11 seconds and finished 6th out of seven runners. Clark Dennis
Clark Sherwood Dennis (born February 14, 1966) is an American professional golfer. He played on the PGA Tour and Nationwide Tour from 1990 to 2000. He had one win on the Nationwide Tour and a best finish of tied for third place on the PGA Tour. He was tied for sixth in the 1994 U.S. Open. He qualified for the 2017 European Senior Tour where he had two tournament wins and won the John Jacobs Trophy as the leader of the Order of Merit. Amateur career Dennis played college golf at the University of Arkansas and Southern Methodist University. He turned professional in 1986. John Morse (golfer)
John Paul Morse (born February 16, 1958) is an American professional golfer who currently plays on the Champions Tour. Amateur career Morse was born in Marshall, Michigan. He attended the University of Michigan and was an All-American member of the golf team and Big-10 Champion in 1980. He won the 1978 Michigan Amateur and was the Big 10 Championship individual medalist in 1980. He turned professional in 1981. Professional career Morse began his career playing in tournaments in and around his home state of Michigan and eventually the Florida Tour. Keith Nolan (golfer)
Keith Nolan (born 11 January 1973) is an Irish professional golfer. Nolan has been a member of the PGA Tour and Nationwide Tour. Nolan was born in Bray, Ireland. He attended East Tennessee State University (ETSU) in the United States on a golf scholarship, where he studied Communications and was awarded All-American honors. He had a successful amateur golf career which included winning both the Irish matchplay and strokeplay championships and representing Great Britain and Ireland in the 1997 Walker Cup. He also represented Ireland at the 1997 European Amateur Team Championship on home soil at Portmarnock Golf Club, where he won the 36-hole stroke-play competition individually. Steve Jurgensen (born October 27, 1961) is an American professional golfer. Jurgensen was born in San Jose, California. He played college golf one year at the University of Houston. Esteban Toledo
Esteban Toledo (born 10 September 1962) is a Mexican professional golfer, who was a member of the PGA Tour in 1994 and 1998–2004 and has also spent many years playing on the second tier Nationwide Tour (now known as Korn Ferry Tour). At present, he competes on the PGA Tour Champions. Toledo was born in Mexicali, Mexico. Before taking up professional golf, Toledo was a boxer. His sole victory on the Nationwide Tour came at the 2005 Lake Erie Charity Classic at Peek 'n Peak Resort. He also won the 2000 Mexican Open. He represented Mexico in the World Cup in 1992, 1994, 1995, 1998, 2002 and 2006. In May 2013, Toledo became the first Mexican to win on the Champions Tour, winning the Insperity Championship in a playoff. Jim Estes
James T. Estes (born August 12, 1964) is an American professional golfer. Estes was born in Washington, D.C. He played college golf at the University of Tennessee and the University of Maryland. He turned professional in 1988. Estes played on the Nationwide Tour in 1990, 1994, 1996–97, and 1999–2000, winning the 1996 Nike Inland Empire Open. He played on the PGA Tour in 1998, where his best finish was T-16 at the Greater Greensboro Chrysler Classic. Tim Conley
Tim Conley (born December 8, 1958) is an American professional golfer who played on the PGA Tour, Nationwide Tour and most recently the Champions Tour. Conley joined the PGA Tour in 1993, earning his card through qualifying school. He did not perform well on Tour in his rookie year but he did win the Nike Knoxville Open on the Nationwide Tour. In 1994 he played on the Nationwide Tour full-time and recorded a runner up finish but only made 7 of 21 cuts. He continued to play on the Nationwide Tour and won the Nike Gateway Classic in 1996 in a playoff. He returned to the PGA Tour in 1998, earning his card through qualifying school. He had another poor year on Tour but did finish 5th at the FedEx St. Jude Classic, his best finish on the PGA Tour of his career. Challenge Tour
The Challenge Tour is the second-tier men's professional golf tour in Europe. It is operated by the PGA European Tour and, as with on the main European Tour and the European Senior Tour, some of the events are played outside Europe. History The tour was introduced in 1986 and was initially called the ''Satellite Tour''. The Order of Merit was introduced in 1989, with the top five players on it winning membership of the European Tour for the following season. The following year the tour was renamed the Challenge Tour. Up to 1993 the Challenge Tour rankings were based on each player's best several results, but since 1994 it has been a straightforward money list, with all results counting. Players who are successful on the Challenge Tour qualify for membership of the European Tour the following year. Twenty players earn direct promotion to the European Tour.
