Steve Jurgensen
Steve Jurgensen (born October 27, 1961) is an American professional golfer. Jurgensen was born in San Jose, California. He played college golf one year at the University of Houston. He turned professional in 1985. Jurgensen played on the Nationwide Tour from 1993 to 1995 and in 1997. He won the 1993 Nike Tri-Cities Open. He played on the PGA Tour in 1996, 1998, and 1999. His best finish was T-4 at the 1997 Deposit Guaranty Golf Classic. Southern Texas PGA Championship
The Southern Texas PGA Championship is a golf tournament that is the championship of the Southern Texas section of the PGA of America. The Southern Texas section was formed in 1968, and the tournament has been played annually since that time. Tommy Aycock, who played in 51 PGA tournaments between 1970 and 1991, holds the record with six victories in this championship. Long Beach Open
The Long Beach Open was a golf tournament on the PGA Tour. It was held in Long Beach, California at the Virginia Country Club from 1926 to 1930 and at the Lakewood Country Club from 1949 to 1951. In 1957 the Long Beach Open was a PGA Satellite Event. In 1989, a revived Long Beach Open came to the El Dorado and Recreation Park golf courses. Since 2006, Skylinks has been on pre-cut rotation, replacing Recreation Park. Troy Grant at the age of 15 is the youngest ever to qualify and make the pro cut. Massachusetts Open
The Massachusetts Open is the Massachusetts state open golf tournament, open to both amateur and professional golfers. It is organized by Mass Golf (formerly the Massachusetts Golf Association). It has been played annually since 1905 (except for war years and 2020) at a variety of courses around the state. It was considered a PGA Tour event from 1916 to 1937.
