Clark Dennis
Clark Sherwood Dennis (born February 14, 1966) is an American professional golfer. He played on the PGA Tour and Nationwide Tour from 1990 to 2000. He had one win on the Nationwide Tour and a best finish of tied for third place on the PGA Tour. He was tied for sixth in the 1994 U.S. Open. He qualified for the 2017 European Senior Tour where he had two tournament wins and won the John Jacobs Trophy as the leader of the Order of Merit. Amateur career Dennis played college golf at the University of Arkansas and Southern Methodist University. He turned professional in 1986. Professional career Dennis played on both the PGA Tour (1990–91, 1994–95, 1998–99) and Nationwide Tour (1993, 1996–97, 2000). The Senior Open Championship, or simply The Senior Open (and originally known as the Senior British Open) is a professional golf tournament for players aged 50 and over. It is run by The R&A, the same body that organises The Open Championship. Prize money won in the event is official money on both PGA Tour Champions (formerly the Senior PGA Tour and Champions Tour) and the European Senior Tour. 2018 European Senior Tour
The 2018 Staysure Tour was the 27th season of the European Senior Tour, the professional golf tour for men aged 50 and above operated by the PGA European Tour. The season was officially called the Staysure Tour after UK-based insurance company Staysure became the Tour's first-ever title sponsor. Tournament results The 2018 schedule consisted of 19 events, including three new tournaments. In addition to new events in Denmark and Spain, the 2018 season ended in the Seychelles after the announcement of the inaugural MCB Tour Championship Indian Ocean Swing. The PGA Seniors Championship which had not been played since 2015 returned as the Staysure PGA Seniors Championship. Andrew Oldcorn
Andrew Oldcorn (born 31 March 1960) is a Scottish professional golfer. Oldcorn was born in Bolton, Lancashire, England. He was raised in Edinburgh, and represents Scotland. He represented England as an amateur and won the English Amateur in 1982, turning professional after playing for Great Britain & Ireland in the 1983 Walker Cup. Oldcorn was medalist at the European Tour final Qualifying School in 1983. He had a steady start to his career on tour before being struck down with ME (also known as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) in the early 1990s. He returned to form in 1993, to claim his first tour victory in the Turespana Masters Open de Andalucia. Away from the tour he also won the Sunderland of Scotland Masters. Carl Mason
Stuart Carl Mason (born 25 June 1953) is an English professional golfer. Mason was born in Buxton, Derbyshire. He won several amateur tournaments before turning professional and becoming something of a journeyman on the European Tour. After twenty years of trying he finally won on tour for the first time in 1994. His biggest successes, however, came after turning 50. He picked up 25 tournament victories on the European Senior Tour and headed the Order of Merit three times, becoming the leading career money winner on the tour. Paul Eales
Paul Martyn Eales (born 2 August 1963) is an English professional golfer. Career Eales was born in Epping, Essex. He turned professional in 1985 and became a member of Europe's second tier Challenge Tour in 1990. The following season he won the Audi Open, and in 1992 finished third on the Challenge Tour Rankings to graduate to the main European Tour for the 1993 season. After a solid rookie season in 1993, Eales won the 1994 Extremadura Open on his way to a career best 35th place on the European Tour Order of Merit. He performed consistently, but without winning again, mostly finishing within the top 100 on the Order of Merit until 2004, when he lost his tour card. Sonny Skinner (born August 18, 1960) is an American professional golfer who plays on the Champions Tour. Skinner was born in Portsmouth, Virginia. He turned professional in 1982. Skinner joined the PGA Tour in 1990 after going through qualifying school. He played on the Ben Hogan Tour in 1991 after a poor performance in his rookie year on the PGA Tour. James Michael Furyk (born May 12, 1970) is an American professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour and the PGA Tour Champions. In 2010, he was the FedEx Cup champion and PGA Tour Player of the Year. He has won one major championship, the 2003 U.S. Open. MCB Tour Championship
The MCB Tour Championship is a men's senior (over 50) professional golf tournament on the European Senior Tour. It has been held every year, in December, since 2009. In 2009 and 2010 it was called the Mauritius Commercial Bank Open and was played at the start of the season, while from 2011 to 2017 it was the final event of the season. It was played at the Constance Belle Mare Plage in Mauritius. In 2017, the prize fund was €450,000. In 2018 the Tour Championship consisted of two tournaments. The MCB Tour Championship Mauritius was played at Constance Belle Mare Plage followed by MCB Tour Championship Seychelles the following week, played at Constance Lemuria, Praslin Island, Seychelles. Rafael Faustino Gómez (born 27 December 1967) is an Argentine professional golfer. Career Gómez was born in Buenos Aires. He turned professional in 1990. He played on the European Challenge Tour in 2003 and from 2005 to 2007 and the European Tour from 2005 to 2007. He played on the U.S.-based Nationwide Tour in 2004 and a few events on the PGA Tour. His best finish on the PGA Tour was 38th place in The International in 2002. His best finish on the European Tour was 22nd place in the KLM Open in 2006.
