Rafael Gómez (golfer)
Rafael Faustino Gómez (born 27 December 1967) is an Argentine professional golfer. Career Gómez was born in Buenos Aires. He turned professional in 1990. He played on the European Challenge Tour in 2003 and from 2005 to 2007 and the European Tour from 2005 to 2007. He played on the U.S.-based Nationwide Tour in 2004 and a few events on the PGA Tour. His best finish on the PGA Tour was 38th place in The International in 2002. His best finish on the European Tour was 22nd place in the KLM Open in 2006. Gómez won the TPG Tour Order of Merit in 2007 and the Tour de las Americas Order of Merit in 2001/02 and 2004. He was second in Los Encinos Open in 2002, Mexican Open in 2006 and the Colombian Open in 2008. Gómez and Ángel Cabrera have the most tournament wins on the Tour de las Americas with eight victories. 2018 European Senior Tour
The 2018 Staysure Tour was the 27th season of the European Senior Tour, the professional golf tour for men aged 50 and above operated by the PGA European Tour. The season was officially called the Staysure Tour after UK-based insurance company Staysure became the Tour's first-ever title sponsor. Tournament results The 2018 schedule consisted of 19 events, including three new tournaments. In addition to new events in Denmark and Spain, the 2018 season ended in the Seychelles after the announcement of the inaugural MCB Tour Championship Indian Ocean Swing. The PGA Seniors Championship which had not been played since 2015 returned as the Staysure PGA Seniors Championship. American Express Costa Rica Open
The Costa Rica Open is a men's professional golf tournament that was played annually in Costa Rica until 2007. It was an event on the Tour de las Americas from 2002 until its replacement by the Costa Rica Golf Classic in 2008, and was also co-sanctioned by the European Challenge Tour from 2003. The tournament was held at the Cariari Country Club near San José every year except in 2004 when it was played over the Valle del Sol Golf Course near Santa Ana. The 2006 event was renamed in order to pay tribute to the tournaments founder and promoter, Kai Fieberg, who had been killed in a car accident earlier in the year. In 1979 and 1980, Cariari hosted the PGA sponsored Friendship Cup, which is sometimes also referred to as the Costa Rica Open. Brigadier General Antonio Maldonado (born 1941) was an officer of the United States Air Force, who in 1967 became the youngest pilot and Aircraft Commander of a B-52 Stratofortress nuclear bomber. Daniel Jae Hong Im (born April 5, 1985) is an American professional golfer. Im was born in Wayne, New Jersey. He played college golf at UCLA where he won the Pac-10 Conference championship in 2006. Im played on the Canadian Tour in 2008, winning two events, finishing third on the Order of Merit, and was named the International Rookie of the Year. In 2009, he finished 25th on the Order of Merit. Im played on the Challenge Tour in 2013, making 17 cuts in 23 events and finishing 17th on the tour rankings. His best finish was tied for second at the Norwegian Challenge. Johan Edfors
Johan Edfors (born 10 October 1975) is a Swedish professional golfer who plays primarily on the European Tour. Early life and amateur career Edfors was born in Varberg. He attended the University of Texas at San Antonio on a Division I athletic scholarship for men's golf. He played for the team under the coaching of Barry Denton for two years. Professional career Edfors turned professional in 1997. He spent several years playing the second tier Challenge Tour, but failed to make the top hundred on the Order of Merit until 2003, when he won twice and topped the Challenge Tour Order of Merit. Eduardo Herrera (born 28 April 1965) is a Colombian professional golfer. Herrera was the first Colombian golfer to feature in the top 100 of the Official World Golf Rankings. Amateur career Herrera represented Colombia in the Eisenhower Cup in 1986 and although his team did not win, he had the best 72-hole score out of all the competitors in a field that included Jesper Parnevik, Colin Montgomerie, Jay Sigel, Billy Andrade, Peter McEvoy, Jean van de Velde and Peter O'Malley.
