1996 Dausa Blast
A bomb blast occurred on a bus near Samleti village in Dausa, Rajasthan on 22 May 1996. The blast, which took place a day after the 1996 Lajpat Nagar blast, killed 14 people and injured 37 others. The chargesheet filed about the incident stated that the individuals responsible were associated with the Jammu and Kashmir Islamic Front Jammu is the winter capital of the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. Dausa is a city and administrative headquarters of Dausa district in the state of Rajasthan, India. 1996 Lajpat Nagar Blast
A bomb blast occurred in Lajpat Nagar market in Delhi on 21 May 1996, killing 13 civilians and injuring 39 others. The blast was followed a day later by the 1996 Dausa blast. Six members of the militant organisation Jammu Kashmir Islamic (Liberation) Front were convicted for the blasts. Bandikui
Bandikui (Bandi=Female servant, Kui=Water well) is a railway city and Municipal Corporationin Dausa district in the Indian state of Rajasthan. It comes under the panchayat samiti of Bandikui. Geography Bandikui sits at the junction of the Agra-Jaipur and the Delhi-Jaipur railway lines. The city is located 205 km south of Delhi. Rajgarh town (in Alwar district) is about 25 km north of Bandikui. Sikandra is located about 17 km away, while the state capital Jaipur is 98 km by road and 91 km by rail.
