1934 Mitropa Cup
The 1934 season of the Mitropa Cup football club tournament was won by AGC Bologna who defeated Admira Wien 7–4 on aggregate in the final. It was Bologna's second victory in the competition, having won it previously in 1932. The two legs of the final were played on 5 September and 9 September. This was the eighth edition of the tournament. Teplitzer FK was a Czechoslovak football club from the town of Teplice, which played seven seasons in the Czechoslovak First League. It was founded in 1903 as a football club associating local German population. The club was the first from Czechoslovakia to travel to the New World, making a 1922 trip to Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil, where the team played six matches, including one against Club Nacional de Football and other against Santos. The club's best result was finishing fourth in the 1933–34 Czechoslovak First League. Teplitzer also took part in the 1934 Mitropa Cup, losing both of their matches against Juventus. Franz Binder
Franz "Bimbo" Binder (1 December 1911 – 24 April 1989) was an Austrian football player and coach who played as a forward. Internationally he represented the Austria national football team and the Germany national football team during the Anschluss. He is the all time leading scorer of Rapid Vienna with 1006 goals in 757 games and regarded as one of the greatest Austrian players of all times. In his whole career he would score 1202 goals in 831 matches. With an average-score of 1.44 goals per match, he is among the most prolific scorers in football history. Binder is one of only a few players to score more than 1200 goals in his professional career alongside Lajos Tichy, Josef Bican, Gerd Müller, Ferenc Puskás, Ferenc Deák, Erwin Helmchen and Pelé. György Sárosi
György Sárosi (; 5 August 1912 – 20 June 1993) was a Hungarian Association football, footballer. Sárosi was a complete footballer renowned for his versatility and technique among other things, and he played in several positions for Ferencvárosi TC, Ferencváros and the Hungary national football team, Hungary national team. Essentially a second striker, he could also operate in Midfielder, midfield or Centre-back, central defence, and he helped Ferencváros win five Hungarian league titles between 1932 and 1941. Stadio Renato Dall'Ara
Stadio Renato Dall'Ara is a multi-purpose stadium in Bologna, Italy. It is currently used mostly for football matches and the home of Bologna F.C. 1909. The stadium was built in 1927 and holds 38,279. It has also been named Stadio Littoriale. It replaced the Stadio Sterlino. The stadium is named after Renato Dall'Ara (1892–1964), a former president of Bologna for thirty years. The stadium hosted matches in both the 1934 FIFA World Cup and the 1990 FIFA World Cup. Ernst-Happel-Stadion (), known as Praterstadion until 1992, sometimes also called Wiener-Stadion, is a football stadium in Leopoldstadt, the 2nd district of Austria's capital Vienna. Anton Schall (22 June 1907 – 5 August 1947) was an Austrian football forward who played for the celebrated Austrian national side of the early 1930s that became known as the ''Wunderteam''.
