1931–32 In Belgian Football
The 1931–32 season was the 32nd season of competitive football in Belgium. The second and third level of Belgian football were just changed prior to the beginning of the season, with now 2 leagues of 14 clubs in Division I and 4 leagues of 14 clubs in Promotion. R Liersche SK won their first Premier Division title. Overview At the end of the season, Tubantia FAC and FC Turnhout were relegated to the Division I, while Lyra TSV (Division I A winner) and RRC de Bruxelles (Division I B winner) were promoted to the Premier Division. The Promotion was won by SV Blankenberghe, Oude God Sport, Union Hutoise FC and Stade Waremmien. Joseph Van Beeck
Joseph Van Beeck (18 February 1911 – 8 February 1998) was a Belgian footballer who played as a striker. During 9 seasons with F.C. Stanley Vanden Eynde
Stanley Hubert Adolphus Vanden Eynde or Van den Eynde (3 October 1909 – 18 November 1994) was a Belgian international footballer who played as a striker for Beerschot VAC. Vanden Eynde also scored 9 goals in 26 appearances for the Belgium national side. Club career Van den Eynde made his debut in 1929 as a striker in the first team at Beerschot VAC. He soon acquired a place as a starter there. Due to a serious injury, a broken leg, sustained in the 1934 FIFA World Cup qualification game Ireland–Belgium, he had to stay in Dublin for three months and was absent from the football fields from 25 February 1934 to 22 November 1936. With this he took the opportunity to travel for a year and a half to Australia and New Zealand. Olympic Stadium (Amsterdam)
The Olympic Stadium (Dutch: ''Olympisch Stadion'', ) is a sporting venue which was used as the main stadium for the 1928 Summer Olympics in Amsterdam. The venue is currently used mostly for athletics, other sports events and concerts. When completed, the stadium had a capacity of 31,600. Following the completion of the rival De Kuip stadium in Rotterdam in 1937, the Amsterdam authorities increased the capacity of the Olympic Stadium to 64,000 by adding a second ring to the stadium.
