1915 Copa Del Rey
The Copa del Rey 1915 was the 15th staging of the Copa del Rey, the Spanish football cup competition. The competition started on 15 April 1915 and concluded on 2 May 1915, with the final, held at the Estadio de Amute in Irun, in which Athletic Bilbao lifted the trophy for the sixth time ever with a resounding 5–0 victory over RCD Español, with a hat-trick from the great Pichichi. Real Club Fortuna De Vigo
Real Fortuna Football Club, was a Spanish football club based in Vigo, Galicia, founded in 1905. Background Vigo was one of the cities through which football entered the Iberian Peninsula, thanks to British sailors and workers. The first demonstrations of the sport were made by the team of the British company Electric Telegraph Company, which was installing the telegraph cable between the islands and Vigo, to connect with Lisbon from there. Jacobo Torres
Jacobo Torres Martínez (1898 in Vigo) was a Spanish footballer who played as a midfielder for Celta de Vigo. He was part of the first-ever team fielded by Celta de Vigo in 1923. Club career Born in Vigo, he spent most of his career at his hometown club Fortuna de Vigo, playing for them until it was merged with Real Vigo Sporting in 1923, to form Celta de Vigo. Torres played in the last match that was held between these two rivals on 11 March 1923, which the ''fortunistas'' lost 0–1. The presentation match of Celta de Vigo was held at Coia on 16 September 1923, in a meeting between an A and a B team formed with the players from the club, taking advantage of the large team available that they had, and Torres was one of the 11 footballers that lined-up for the A team. Domingo Acedo
Domingo Gómez-Acedo y Villanueva (6 June 1898 – 14 September 1980), also known as Txomin, was a Spanish footballer who played primarily as a left-sided forward and sometimes as a left back. Acedo was in the Spain national team that competed in the 1920 Summer Olympics, and won the silver medal. Julián Ruete
Julián Ruete Muniesa (29 January 1887 – 15 March 1939) was a player, referee, coach and football manager in Spain at the beginning of the 20th century. He was also a director of the Royal Spanish Football Federation. Some of his main achievements was getting the funds for the construction of a new ground for Athletic Madrid (now known as Atlético Madrid), the Campo de O'Donnell in 1913. Francisco Armet de Castellví (5 November 1892 in Terrassa – 23 March 1973 in Madrid), nicknamed "Pakán", was a Spanish footballer who played as a defender. Club career Francisco Armet was born into a family of the Catalan aristocracy. Together with his younger brothers Juan and Jordi (both forwards), he formed one of the most outstanding lineages of footballers of the early 20th century in Catalonia.
