1999 BMW Open – Singles ...
The 1999 BMW Open was a men's tennis tournament played on Clay courts in Munich, Germany that was part of the World Series of the 1999 ATP Tour. It was the eighty-third edition of the tournament and was held from April 26 – May 3. Thomas Enqvist was the defending champion, but lost in the first round this year. Franco Squillari won the title, defeating Andrei Pavel 6–4, 6–3 in the final. Franco Squillari
Franco Squillari (born 22 August 1975) is a former professional male tennis player from Argentina. He won 3 singles titles, reached the semifinals of the 2000 French Open and achieved a career-high singles ranking of World No. 11. Career As a junior, Squillari won the 1993 South American Closed Junior Championships (in Paraguay). Squillari entered the world's top 50 in 1998, and won a total of three ATP Tour singles titles (all in Germany) during his career. Alberto Berasategui
Alberto Berasategui Salazar (born 28 June 1973) is a former top-10 professional tennis player from Spain. He was a Grand Slam finalist at the 1994 French Open, and won a total of 14 ATP singles titles, achieving a career-high singles ranking of world no. 7 in November 1994. Bernd Karbacher (born 3 April 1968) is a German retired professional tennis player. His highest ATP singles ranking is world No. 22, which he reached on 17 April 1995. Rainer Schüttler
Rainer Schüttler (; born 25 April 1976) is a German former professional tennis player. Schüttler was the runner-up at the 2003 Australian Open and a semifinalist at the 2008 Wimbledon Championships. Boris Becker

Gérard Solvès
Gérard Solvès (born 7 April 1968) is a French tennis player, coach and director of the Tennis Club de Paris. Career Solvès arrived on the scene in 1993, making the quarterfinals in Munich and Gstaad. He defeated some good players in both tournaments, defeating world number 19 Henrik Holm at Munich and managing a win over Wally Masur in Gstaad.
