Gérard Solvès
Gérard Solvès (born 7 April 1968) is a French tennis player, coach and director of the Tennis Club de Paris. Career Solvès arrived on the scene in 1993, making the quarterfinals in Munich and Gstaad. He defeated some good players in both tournaments, defeating world number 19 Henrik Holm at Munich and managing a win over Wally Masur in Gstaad. In 1997 he made the quarterfinals of the Shanghai Open and was also a semi-finalist in Chennai that year. Solvès did well at Chennai again in 1998, making it as far as the quarterfinals. He took part in the singles draw of seven Grand Slams. In both the 1994 and 1995 French Opens, Solvès also played in the men's doubles and mixed doubles. He partnered Fabrice Santoro in the 1994 French Open. His first win was at the French Open in 1996, when he defeated Marcos Ondruska in a 285-minute marathon, which ended at 9–7 in the fifth set. Lagny-sur-Marne
Lagny-sur-Marne (, literally ''Lagny on Marne'') is a commune in the eastern suburbs of Paris, France. It is located in the Seine-et-Marne department in the Île-de-France from the centre of Paris. The Grand Slam in tennis is the achievement of winning all four major championships in one discipline in a calendar year, also referred to as the "Calendar-year Grand Slam" or "Calendar Slam". Richey Reneberg
Richey Reneberg (born October 5, 1965) is an American former professional tennis player. He attended Southern Methodist University, where he was a three-time All-American and reached the 1986 National Collegiate Athletics Association finals. He was the ATP Newcomer of the Year when he turned professional in 1987. He and his partner Jim Grabb were ranked world No. 1 in doubles and won the 1992 US Open doubles title. His career-high singles ranking in the ATP Tour was world No. 20. He won a second doubles Grand Slam title with Jared Palmer, at the 1995 Australian Open. Fabrice Vetea Santoro (born 9 December 1972) is a French retired tennis player. Successful in both singles and doubles, he had an unusually long professional career, with many of his accomplishments coming toward the end of his career, and he is popular among spectators and other players alike for his winning demeanor and shot-making abilities; he is also one of a rare breed of player who plays two-handed on both the forehand and backhand sides. Yevgeny Kafelnikov defeated Michael Stich in the final, 7–6(7–4), 7–5, 7–6(7–4) to win the men's singles tennis title at the 1996 French Open. Kafelnikov remains the most recent man to have won both the singles and men's doubles titles at the same edition of a major.
