1995 PBA All-Filipino Cup
The 1995 Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) All-Filipino Cup was the first conference of the 1995 PBA season. It started on February 19 and ended on May 21, 1995. The tournament is an All-Filipino format, which doesn't require an import or a pure-foreign player for each team. Format The following format will be observed for the duration of the conference: *The teams were divided into 2 groups. PBA On Vintage Sports
The PBA on Vintage Sports was a branding used for presentation of Philippine Basketball Association games produced by Vintage Sports, a sports-oriented media company and was aired on Philippine television networks City2 Television from 1982 to 1984, Maharlika Broadcasting System (later renamed as People's Television Network) from 1985 to 1995, and Intercontinental Broadcasting Corporation from 1996 to 1999. History In 1982, the PBA awarded the broadcast rights of its games to Vintage Enterprises, Inc., a company owned by Carlos "Bobong" Velez and signed a P5.4 million deal with the league. Games were aired on City2 Television, with the second game of a doubleheader aired live and the first game followed afterwards on a delayed basis. San Miguel Beermen
The San Miguel Beermen are a professional basketball team in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). It is one of three PBA clubs owned by the San Miguel Corporation group of companies along with the Magnolia Hotshots and Barangay Ginebra San Miguel. It is the most successful franchise in the history of the PBA and the only remaining original franchise in the league. The Beermen have the most titles with 28 and the most all-time victories with more than 1,200 wins. In addition, it has won the Grand Slam in and the Perpetual Jun Bernardino Trophy after winning three straight PBA Philippine Cups from 2015 to 2017. Cuneta Astrodome
The Cuneta Astrodome is an indoor arena that is located in Pasay, Philippines. Since the 1993 PBA season, it was better known as the home of the Philippine Basketball Association. when it left the PhilSports Arena (that was then known as ULTRA), up until the 1998 PBA season, 1998 and since 2001 PBA season, 2001. It hosts the local basketball league sports competition. It has also hosted a slew of other political, evangelical gatherings and church anniversaries. The 1995 Formula Shell Super Unleaded season was the 11th season of the franchise in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). Known as Shell Rimula-X in the All-Filipino Cup. The 1995 Pepsi Mega Bottlers season was the 6th season of the franchise in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). Summary The Bottlers won their first two games of the season, upsetting Alaska Milkmen, 99-93 in overtime on February 21, followed by a 94-80 win over San Miguel on February 28. The Mega Bottlers had four wins and two losses when they lost their last four games and were eliminated from the All-Filipino Cup semifinal race along with San Miguel Beermen and Ginebra. Bob McCann, who played for three NBA teams spread over three years, was Pepsi's import in the Commissioners Cup. The 1995 Ginebra San Miguel season was the 17th season of the franchise in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). Draft picks Summary Ginebra bowed to Shell Rimula-X, 88-100, in the opening game of the season on February 19. The Gins lost their first three outings but found success during their out-of-town matches by winning against Shell, 129-120 on March 5 in Cabanatuan City, and Pepsi, 106-95 in San Fernando, Pampanga on March 11.
