1995 Pepsi Mega Season
The 1995 Pepsi Mega Bottlers season was the 6th season of the franchise in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). Summary The Bottlers won their first two games of the season, upsetting Alaska Milkmen, 99-93 in overtime on February 21, followed by a 94-80 win over San Miguel on February 28. The Mega Bottlers had four wins and two losses when they lost their last four games and were eliminated from the All-Filipino Cup semifinal race along with San Miguel Beermen and Ginebra. Bob McCann, who played for three NBA teams spread over three years, was Pepsi's import in the Commissioners Cup. He scored 44 points in leading the Bottlers to a 91-87 win over Formula Shell in the opening game on June 9, spoiling the debut of the much-hype Shell reinforcement Jarvis Matthews. Yeng Guiao
Joseller "Yeng" Medina Guiao (born March 19, 1959) is a Filipino professional basketball head coach, politician, commentator and sports commissioner. He is currently the head coach of the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters of the Philippine Basketball Association. He previously served as the interim head coach of the Philippine national team. Guiao won seven PBA titles since starting his head coaching job for Swift in the early 1990s. He is a former Philippine Basketball League commissioner from 1997 to 2000. He was also the Vice Governor of the Province of Pampanga from 2004 to 2013, serving three different Governors, Mark Lapid, Eddie Panlilio and Lilia Pineda. Bob McCann
Robert Glen McCann (April 22, 1964 – July 1, 2011) was an American professional basketball player. He was listed as a power forward at 6'7" (or 6'6") and 244–248 lbs. McCann died of heart failure in July 2011. McCann was born in Morristown, New Jersey. He attended Upsala College, a Division III school, for one academic year (1982–83) and then transferred to Division I Morehead State University, where he played for three seasons (from 1984 to 1987; after having dropped the 1983–84 season as a transfer student). Derrick Canada
A derrick is a lifting device composed at minimum of one guyed mast, as in a gin pole, which may be articulated over a load by adjusting its guys. Most derricks have at least two components, either a guyed mast or self-supporting tower, and a boom hinged at its base to provide articulation, as in a ''stiffleg'' derrick. The most basic type of derrick is controlled by three or four lines connected to the top of the mast, which allow it both to move laterally and cant up and down. To lift a load, a separate line runs up and over the mast with a hook on its free end, as with a crane. Forms of derricks are commonly found aboard ships and at docking facilities. Gregory Guy Jr. (born October 17, 1971) is a retired American professional basketball player most known for being the NCAA Division I scoring champion during the 1992–93 season. He was born in Oak Park, Illinois, and his father Gregory Guy Sr. was a basketball player for Illinois State. Guy went to Oak Park and River Forest High School. He attended two different junior colleges and spent a semester at Fresno State University before transferring to the University of Texas–Pan American in December of his junior season in 1992–93.
