Gelsenkirchen (, , ; wep, Gelsenkiärken) is the 25th most populous city of Germany and the 11th most populous in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia with 262,528 (2016) inhabitants. Oleg Stanislavovich Tataurov (russian: Олег Станиславович Татауров; born 23 August 1972) is a Russian figure skating coach and former competitor who represented the Soviet Union and Russia. He won silver and bronze medals at the Grand Prix International St. Gervais and represented Russia at the 1994 Winter Olympics, where he placed 11th. Personal life Tataurov was born on 23 August 1972 in Leningrad, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union. Career Tataurov began skating in 1978. He was coached by Alexei Mishin in Saint Petersburg. Tataurov took bronze at the 1990 Grand Prix International St. Gervais and silver a year later. He won the bronze medal at the 1991 Winter Universiade for the Soviet Union. Tonia Sue Kwiatkowski (born February 12, 1971) is an American figure skating coach and former competitor. She is a two-time Winter Universiade champion, a winner of two silver medals on the Champions Series, and the 1996 U.S. national silver medalist. She finished in the top ten at two World Championships and competed in 13 U.S. Championships. Carol Heiss Jenkins and Glyn Watts were her longtime coaches. Kwiatkowski retired from amateur skating in 1998 and continues to be involved in the sport as a skater and coach. Maria Butyrskaya
Maria Viktorovna Butyrskaya (russian: Мария Викторовна Бутырская, links=no, born 28 June 1972) is a Russian retired figure skater. She is the 1999 World champion and a three-time European champion — becoming the oldest skater and the first Russian to win the World ladies' title and the oldest skater to win the European ladies' title (2002 at age 29). Marina Kielmann (born 31 January 1968) is a German former competitive figure skater. She is a four-time European Championship medallist (silver in 1992, bronze in 1990, 1991, and 1993), the 1994 Nations Cup champion and a three-time German national champion (1991–93). Josée Chouinard (born August 21, 1969) is a Canadian former competitive figure skater. She is the 1996 Champions Series Final bronze medallist and a three-time Canadian national champion (1991, 1993–1994). She finished in the top ten at two Winter Olympics. Rena Inoue
is a Japanese-born American retired pair skater. With partner John Baldwin, she is the 2004 and 2006 U.S. National Champion. Inoue previously competed for Japan as both a single skater and pair skater. Inoue and Baldwin are the first skaters to perform a throw triple Axel in competition. Personal life Rena Inoue was born in Nishinomiya, Hyōgo, Japan. She moved to the United States in 1996 at the urging of her father, who had been diagnosed with lung cancer. In 1998, less than two years after her father's death, Inoue was also diagnosed with lung cancer. It was detected early, and after six months of chemotherapy, she was cancer-free.
