Darren Wang Talu (; born May 29, 1991) is a Taiwanese actor. He is best known for his breakout role as Hsu Tai-yu in the coming-of-age film, '' Our Times''. Hsu Shu-ching
Hsu Shu-ching (; born 9 May 1991) is a Taiwanese weightlifter. Early life Hsu, of Hakka descent, was born in Lunbei, Yunlin, Taiwan. She played basketball in high school, switching to weightlifting at the age of 13, after the school disbanded its basketball team. Hsu later attended Kaohsiung Medical University. Weightlifting career Hsu was coached by Tsai Wen-yee. She won a gold medal in the women's 53 kg at the 2012 London Olympics, after the original gold medalist, Zulfiya Chinshanlo failed a doping retest. At the 2014 Asian Games, she set a world record in the same event, with a lift of 233 kg. Hsu won another gold medal in the women's 53 kg at the 2016 Summer Olympics. Lin Yi-han (; 16 March 1991 – 27 April 2017) was a Taiwanese writer. Life Lin Yi-han studied at the National Tainan Girls' Senior High School. Her father is a famous dermatologist in Tainan. Wang Yao-lin (; born February 5, 1991) is a Taiwanese professional baseball pitcher for the Fubon Guardians of the Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL). Beitou District
Beitou District is the northernmost of the twelve districts of Taipei City, Taiwan. The historical spelling of the district is Peitou. The name originates from the Ketagalan word ''Kipatauw'', meaning witch. Beitou is the most mountainous and highest of Taipei's districts, encompassing a meadow with rivers running through the valley which have abundant steam rising from them; the result of geothermal warming. Beitou Refuse Incineration Plant
The Beitou Refuse Incineration Plant () is an incinerator in Zhoumei Borough, Beitou District, Taipei, Taiwan. History The plant was originally established as the Shilin Refuse Incineration Plant on 1 July 1991. On 1 July 1995, the plant was renamed Beitou Refuse Incineration Plant and it was made a unit of the Department of Environmental Protection of the Taipei City Government. Technical details The plant spans over an area of 10.6 hectares. It can treat 1,800 tons of garbage from the Taipei area per day. Facilities The plant's smokestack is equipped with an observation deck at an altitude of 116 meters.
