Liga Nacional De Fútbol Profesional De Honduras
Liga Betcris de Honduras (''Honduran National Professional Football League'') is the highest division of football in Honduras. The league season is divided into Opening (autumn) and Closing (spring). One team is relegated to the Liga de Ascenso (the team with fewest points in Opening and Closing) and one team is promoted from Liga de Ascenso. The top four clubs participate in play-offs to decide the champion. The winners of the Opening and Closing competitions participate in the CONCACAF Champions League. Wilmer Enrique Cruz Paredes (born 18 December 1965) is a retired Honduran football player. He is currently the manager of Victoria. Club career Nicknamed ''Pájaro'' (Bird) and ''Supermán'', Cruz played 129 league matches for Real C.D. España and also had spells with Platense F.C., F.C. Eugenio Dolmo Flores
Mario Eugenio Dolmo Flores (born 31 July 1965 in Puerto Cortés) is a retired Honduran footballer. Club career Born in Puerto Cortés, Flores began his footballing career at local side Platense. He soon arrived to renowned Olimpia, where he would make his name later leaving for Santos Laguna. In November 2012 he was nominated to become a "Guerrero de Honor" (Warrior of Honour) of Santos. He also had a season in Peru with Universitario, where he played alongside compatriot César Obando, and in Costa Rica with Alajuelense. After a few seasons back in Honduras he retired after playing on 26 May 2001 for Broncos then moved abroad again to play in El Salvador with Isidro Metapán in the 2002 Clausura. He was later dismissed by Nicaraguans Real Estelà in October 2003 and duly finished his career. Francisco Javier Toledo Rivera (30 September 1959 – 3 August 2006) was a Honduran football midfielder. Club career Toledo played for Marathón, Tela Timsa and Olimpia. Prudencio Norales MartÃnez (born 20 April 1956) is a retired Honduran football midfielder who played for Honduras in the 1982 FIFA World Cup. Gilberto Leonel Machado GarcÃa (born 23 March 1962) is a retired Honduran footballer who played as a midfielder for Marathón, Olimpia, and Deportes Progreseño in Liga Nacional de Fútbol Profesional de Honduras. He is the current manager of Honduran second division side Sula de La Lima. Club career Born in San Pedro Sula, Machado played club football in Honduras. He made his debut for Marathón on 29 July 1979 against Atlético Portuario and scored his first goal on 22 February 1981 against Real España. Machado was the Honduran league's top goal-scorer in 1987, scoring 19 goals for Marathon. He is also Marathon's all-time leading goal-scorer, scoring 78 goals from 1979 to 1991.
