1974–75 FIBA European Cup Winners' Cup
The 1974–75 FIBA European Cup Winners' Cup was the ninth edition of FIBA's 2nd-tier level European-wide professional club basketball competition, contested between national domestic cup champions, running from 6 November 1974, to 26 March 1975. It was contested by 22 teams, three less than in the previous edition. Spartak Leningrad defeated Crvena zvezda, the former FIBA European Cup Winner's Cup champion, in the final, held in Nantes, and became the first and only Soviet League team to win the competition for the second time. FIBA Saporta Cup
The FIBA Saporta Cup was the name of the second-tier level European-wide professional club basketball competition, where the domestic National Cup winners, from all over Europe, played against each other. The competition was organized by FIBA Europe. It was named after the late Raimundo Saporta, a former Real Madrid director. Budapesti Honvéd SE (men's Basketball)
Budapesti Honvéd SE is a basketball club based in Budapest, Hungary. With 33 Hungarian Championships and 17 Hungarian Cups won from the 1950s to the 1990s, it is the most successful team in the Hungarian national basketball league. The club was relegated from the 1st division in 2001, but continued as an amateur club in the 3rd division. Between 2004 and 2022 they have played in the 2nd division. In its current format, each team plays all other teams two times in the regular season, once at home and once away, for a total of 22 regular season games.
