SK Brage
Sportsklubben Brage is a defunct Norwegian multi-sports club from Trondheim. History It was founded on 24 March 1907. its sports included football, athletics, boxing and Nordic skiing. It was disbanded in 2009. Athletics Arne Halse won an Olympic silver and bronze in 1908, and also competed in 1906 and 1912. Other Olympic athletes are John Johansen (1908), Otto Osen (1912) and Otto Monsen (1912; represented Hamar TF in 1908). Hjalmar Johannesen also represented the club for some years. Olav Nilsen
Nils Olav Nilsen (24 January 1942 – 11 October 2021) was a Norwegian footballer who played as a striker in his early career, but was later used as a midfielder. He scored 19 goals in 62 matches for the Norway national team. On club level Nilsen played for Viking, being team captain during their heyday in the early 1970s. John Krogh
John Olav Krogh (12 September 1938 – 18 January 2019) was a Norwegian footballer who played as a Forward (association football), forward. Born in Trondheim, he played for SK Freidig (1957–60) and Rosenborg BK (1961–63). He earned 11 caps for Norway national football team, Norway, scoring four goals. He made his debut for them on 21 June 1962 in a 0–2 loss to neighbours Sweden national football team, Sweden at the Ullevaal Stadion in Oslo, in the first leg of the preliminary round of 1964 European Nations' Cup qualifying, qualification for the 1964 European Nations' Cup. In his next game on 3 July, he scored his first international goal, the third of a 5–0 friendly win over Malta national football team, Malta in his hometown. On 4 November, in the second leg at the Malmö Stadion, he opened a 1–1 draw that sent the Swedes through 3–1 on aggregate. Arne Pedersen
Arne Knut Pedersen (1 November 1931 – 16 November 2013) was a Norwegian footballer. He was a deep-lying inside forward, or offensive midfielder by today's terminology, who spent his entire playing career at his hometown club Fredrikstad FK, where he was a key player during the club's most successful period in the 1950s and early 1960s. He was also capped 40 times by Norway, and scored 11 international goals. Club career Pedersen was born and raised in Fredrikstad, and joined Fredrikstad FK as a youth player in 1945. His older brother Leif Pedersen (1924–1990) also played for the club at the time. Arne Pedersen made his debut for FFK's first team in 1950, and soon became a regular in the side. Bjørn Borgen
Bjørn Borgen (22 September 1937 – 18 November 2015) was a Norwegian footballer who played for Fredrikstad and Lyn, as well as the national team, as a right winger. He later became a coach active in the lower leagues. Early career Born in Fredrikstad, Borgen began his career with local team Ørn Fjeldberg before joining Fredrikstad in 1948 at the age of 11, alongside Per Kristoffersen. He won the 1955 Norwegian Junior Cup with the team. He made his debut for the first-team the next year. He suffered from behavioural problems in 1958, and eventually left the club in January 1959 to work in a clothes shop in Oslo and play for Lyn. Roald Jensen
Roald Jensen (11 January 1943 – 6 October 1987), nicknamed "Kniksen", of Bergen, Norway was one of that country's most celebrated association football players. He played for SK Brann and Heart of Midlothian F.C. ("Hearts"). ''Knicksen'' is a local Bergen word meaning "juggler". Jensen was born in Bergen. From an early age, he was interested in football. He made his Brann senior-team debut in 1960, while still only 17. He made his debut on the national team the same year. Brann, with Jensen, won the league in 1961-62 and in 1963. After Brann's relegation in 1964, Jensen transferred to professional football in Scotland as Heart of Midlothian's first non-British player. While he was in Scotland, Jensen was unable to play for Norway, as the national team did not allow professional players at that time.
