Sultan Ismail Nasiruddin Shah
Sultan Ismail Nasiruddin Shah ibni Almarhum Sultan Haji Zainal Abidin III Mu’azzam Shah (Jawi alphabet, Jawi: ; 27 January 1907 – 20 September 1979) was the fourth Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia and the sixteenth Sultan of Terengganu. Early career The date of his birth has been given as either 16 March 1906 or as 24 January 1907, the latter being the one more often used. Born in Kuala Terengganu, he was the fifth, but third surviving, son of Sultan Zainal Abidin III ibni Sultan Ahmad II (reigned 1881–1918). His mother was a Thai people, Thai Muslim convert, ''Cik'' Maimuna binti Abdullah, who died in 1918. Educated at the Kuala Terengganu Malay School, he then went to the Malay College. Sultan of Terengganu () is the title of the constitutional head of Terengganu state in Malaysia. The current Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin of Terengganu, is the 18th sultan and 13th Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia from 2006 to 2011. He is the head of the religion of Islam in the state and the source of all titles, honours and dignities in the state. History Terengganu emerged as an independent sultanate in 1725. The first sultan was Zainal Abidin I, the younger brother of a former sultan of Johor, and Johor strongly influenced Terengganu politics through the 18th century. Terengganu (; Terengganu Malay: ''Tranung'', Jawi: ), formerly spelled Trengganu or Tringganu, is a sultanate and constitutive state of federal Malaysia. Nik Ahmad Kamil Nik Mahmud
Nik Ahmad Kamil bin Nik Mahmud (7 July 1909 – 20 December 1977) was a Malaysian politician who played an active role during the country's road to independence. A prominent member of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO) in the state of Kelantan, he served as the fourth Speaker of the Dewan Rakyat, Speaker of the Dewan Rakyat, the lower house of the Parliament of Malaysia, Malaysian Parliament. Nik Ahmad Kamil was a lawyer and a member of the Bar. His daughter, Nik Mariah was also a lawyer and member of the Bar. Early life and career Nik Ahmad Kamil was born in Kota Bharu in 1909. His father, Nik Mahmud Nik Ismail was the List of Menteris Besar of Kelantan, Menteri Besar of Kelantan. He was educated at Madrasah Muhammadiah, Kota Bharu and Malay College Kuala Kangsar. The Menteri Besar of Kelantan or Chief Minister of Kelantan is the head of government in the Malaysian state of Kelantan. According to convention, the Menteri Besar is the leader of the majority party or largest coalition party of the Kelantan State Legislative Assembly. Sultan Ibrahim IV Of Kelantan
Sultan Ibrahim ibni Almarhum Sultan Muhammad IV, , (9 October 1897 – 9 July 1960) was the Sultan of Kelantan from 1944 to 1960. He was born at Istana Balai Besar in Kota Bharu to Sultan Muhammad IV ibni Almarhum Sultan Muhammad III, Sultan of Kelantan and his wife, Sultanah Zainab binti Nik Wan Muhammad Amin. On 22 June 1911, his father appointed him "Tengku Sri Indra Mahkota Kelantan", becoming the heir apparent on 21 April 1921. He served as deputy Judge of the High Court and later represented his brother in Singapore in 1942. On 21 June 1944, he succeeded upon the death of his brother, Sultan Ismail and was crowned Sultan at Istana Balai Besar four months later. Dato' Sir Haji Mohamad Sheriff bin Osman, KBE (5 August 1890 - 27 September 1962) was the first Chief Minister of Kedah. Sheriff was the Menteri Besar of Kedah from 1948 until 1954.
