1911 Volta A Catalunya
The 1911 Volta a Catalunya was the inaugural edition of the Volta a Catalunya cycle race and was held from 6 January to 8 January 1911. The race started and finished in Barcelona. The race was won by Sebastián Masdeu. Starting cyclists Of the 33 starting cyclists, 22 finished. The winner, Sebastián Masdeu, received 500 pesetas for his victory. Sebastián Masdeu Menasanch (1889 – 5 January 1964) was a Spanish cyclist, who won the first edition of the Volta a Catalunya in 1911. Logroño
Logroño () is the capital of the province of La Rioja, situated in northern Spain. Traversed in its northern part by the Ebro River, Logroño has historically been a place of passage, such as the Camino de Santiago. Premià de Mar () is a municipality in the ''comarca'' of the Maresme in Catalonia, Spain. It is situated on the coast between El Masnou and Vilassar de Mar, to the north-east of Barcelona. Jaime Durán Gómez (born 2 December 1981) is a Mexican former professional footballer who played as a defender. Club career Durán began his career in the youth ranks of Futbol Club Atlas and made his First Division debut on August 14, 1999, in a 2–3 loss to Tigres. He became a regular for Atlas appearing in a total of 139 matches in his seven years at the club, which includes 14 liguilla matches.
