Christian Frederik Lütken (; 7 October 1827, in Sorø – 6 February 1901), was a Denmark, Danish zoologist and naturalist. In 1852, he resigned his commission as a lieutenant with the Danish army, and earned his master's degree in sciences the following year.Darwinarkivet.dk

Henrik August Flindt
Henrik (Henry) August Flindt (24 April 1822 – 19 January 1901) was a Danish gardener and landscape architect. His specialty was manor house gardens, of which he designed around 200 in Denmark and abroad. He also designed the current University of Copenhagen Botanical Garden as well as Ørstedsparken and Østre Anlæg in Copenhagen's Fortification Ring, the former grounds of the city's old fortification ring which was abandoned in 1990 Biography Henrik August Flindt was born on 22 March 1822 in Aarhus to Brigadier General C.L.H. Flindt. He received his training as a gardener at Fredensborg Palace and Rosenborg Castle between 1839 and 1844 and was then employed as an assistant gardener at Bregentved Manor. In 1846 he embarked on a journey to Hamburg, Scotland and England. Kjeld Abell
Kjeld Abell (25 August 1901 – 5 March 1961) was a Danish playwright, screenwriter, and theatrical designer. Born in Ribe, Denmark, Abell's first designs were seen in ballets directed by George Balanchine at Copenhagen's Royal Danish Theatre and London's Alhambra Theatre. Roughly the dramatic work of Abell might be divided into three phases: a) criticism of middle class conventions, b) fighting Nazism and c) criticism of post-war pessimism and urge for death. Perhaps he is the first consequent modernist among Danish playwrights with his use of a flash back Chinese box system and a growing use of symbols and parallel actions. Biography Born in Copenhagen, Denmark, Sekaer came to New York in 1918 to seek freedom and opportunity. By 1922 he had a reputation as a master sign painter and had his own successful business producing posters. Several years later he began to take classes at The Art Student's League. Sekaer soon became acquainted with Ben Shahn, who may have been the one to introduce him to photography and who later introduced him to Walker Evans. Mogens Lassen
Mogens Lassen (20 February 1901 – 14 December 1987) was a Modernist Danish architect and designer, working within the idiom of the International Style. He mainly designed residential buildings, both in the form of single-family houses and apartment blocks. He was the brother of Flemming Lassen, also an architect. Biography Mogens Lassen was born on 20 February 1901 in Copenhagen into an artistic family. His father Hans Vilhelm Lassen was a decorative painter and his mother, Ingeborg Winding, was a painter. He trained as a mason before being admitted to the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 1923, but underwent further architectural training at various practices in Copenhagen, particularly with Tyge Hvass from 1925 to 1934.
