Member Of Parliament
A member of parliament (MP) is the representative in parliament of the people who live in their electoral district. In many countries with bicameral parliaments, this term refers only to members of the lower house since upper house members often have a different title. The terms congressman/congresswoman or deputy are equivalent terms used in other jurisdictions. Tufan Erhürman
Tufan Erhürman (born 1970) is a Turkish Cypriot academic, lawyer, diplomat and a former Prime Minister of Northern Cyprus. A scholar in public law by profession, he served in the negotiations to solve the Cyprus dispute between 2008 and 2010. He previously worked for the Ministry of Justice of Turkey between 1999 and 2004 and worked for the establishment of the position of ombudsman in Turkey. He is the current leader of Republican Turkish Party. He held the office of Prime Minister beginning January 2018 as the leader of a four-party coalition. The coalition government resigned on 9 May 2019, with Erhürman continuing as Prime Minister until the office was taken over by Ersin Tatar on 22 May 2019. Ersan Saner
Hamza Ersan Saner (born 1966) served as the Prime Minister of Northern Cyprus from 9 December 2020 to 5 November 2021. President Ersin Tatar gave the task of establishing the government on 7 November 2020 to Ersan Saner, as he would temporarily serve as its chair until the National Unity Party Congress. After 14 days of contacts with other political parties, he was unable to form a government and returned the post on 21 November 2020. After the Leader of the Republican Turkish Party, Tufan Erhürman, who was given the task of forming the government, could not form the government, Ersan Saner was assigned to form the government for the second time on 7 December 2020. Oğuzhan Hasipoğlu
Oğuzhan is a common masculine Turkish given name. "Oğuzhan" is composed of two words, "Oğuz" and "han"; Oğuz is a given name, while "han" means literally "khan". Thus, "Oğuzhan" means "Oğuz khan". The modern name derives from the name and title of Oghuz Khagan, a legendary Turkic leader. There are various theories on the meaning of "Oğuz". The most prominent explanation is that it is composed of "ok" and "z". In modern Turkish as well as Proto-Turkic, "ok" means "arrow". However, in Proto-Turkic, "ok" also means "clan" or "nation". Serdar Denktaş
Serdar Denktaş is son of Rauf Denktaş, the former President of the de facto Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. He was the Minister of Finance of Northern Cyprus from April 2016 to May 2019. Kudret Özersay
Kudret Özersay (born 16 December 1973) is a Turkish Cypriot academic, diplomat and politician. A scholar in international politics by profession, he served in the negotiations to solve the Cyprus dispute between 2002 and 2012 and in 2014. He was the Special Representative of the President of Northern Cyprus between 2010 and 2012 and again in 2014. He established and led the Toparlanıyoruz Movement and is one of the founders and the current leader of People's Party. Education Özersay studied international relations at Ankara University.
