Gülşah Hatun
Gülşah Hatun ( ota, کل شاہ خاتون, "''Rose of the Şah''"; died 1487) was a consort of Sultan Mehmed the Conqueror of the Ottoman Empire. Early years She married Mehmed in 1449, when he was still a prince and the governor of Manisa. Just before Sultan Murad II's death, she gave birth to her only son, Şehzade Mustafa, who was to be his father's favourite. According to Turkish tradition, all princes were expected to work as provincial governors as a part of their training. Mustafa was sent to govern Konya and later Kayseri, and Gülşah accompanied him. Mustafa's death Mustafa died in December 25, 1474 of natural causes. It was rumored that Mustafa had approached Mahmud Pasha's wife and thus making him the person behind Mustafa's murder. There are speculations that Gülşah Hatun may have been a party to the illicit relations between the prince and wife of Mahmud Pasha. Gülşah Akkaya
Gülşah Akkaya (born October 6, 1977) is a former Turkish professional woman basketball player in forward position. The 1.81 m (5' 11½") tall national player was a top scorer. Akkaya started playing basketball at the age of 13. She debuted in Deniz Nakliyat and then transferred to Fenerbahçe İstanbul where she played in 1995–96 season. In 1997, she moved to the US and played in the American NCAA with the Lynn University team in two seasons until 1999. She still ranks 4th with an average of 23.8 points in the all-time list of single season points per season for her time being at Boca Raton, Florida. After Akkaya returned home and was with Fenerbahçe İstanbul in the season 1999–00, she transferred to the Greek club Panserraikos in Thessaloniki for 2002–03 season and became top scorer with 204 points. Private life Gülşah Düzgün was born to İsmail Aktürk and his spouse Mğrvet on 25 September 1995. She completed her secondary education in a school for the blinds and visually impaired. She is married to her club mate Tekin Okan Düzgün, also a visually impaired sportsman and a national goalball player. In 2018, she gave birth to a daughter, Elif Bera. Sporting career The visually impaired girl started performing goalball in the school through her physical training teacher in 2006. Gülşah Günenç (born January 5, 1985) is a Turkish former swimmer, who specialized in butterfly events. She represented Turkey in two editions of the Olympic Games (2004 and 2008). She broke two Turkish national records in both 100 and 200 m butterfly at the 2006 FINA World Championships (SC). Gunenc is also a member of the swimming team for Fenerbahce Sports Club in her native Istanbul, and for the Buckeyes at Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. Gunenc made her first Turkish team (aged 19) at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, competing in a butterfly double. Gülşah Kıyak (born in 1989) is a Turkish female wushu practitioner competing in the Sanshou 60 kg division. She is a member of the Altınayak Youth and Sports Club in Esenler, Istanbul, where she is coached by İrfan Doruk. Since 2008, she is a student of Sports and Physical Education at the Uludağ University in Bursa. Early years Gülşah Kıyak was born 1989 in Ankara as the youngest child of the family. Her parents moved in 1999 to Istanbul. Her father Hikmet Kıyak enrolled her upon an advice from a friend of him at martial arts training. So, she began practicing wushu in 2000 at the age of eleven in a small sport center in Esenler, Istanbul.
