135th (2/1st South Western) Brigade
The 135th Infantry Brigade was an infantry brigade of the Territorial Force, part of the British Army. It was formed in the First World War as a duplicate of the South Western Brigade and was originally formed as the 2nd/1st South Western Brigade in 1914–1915 before later being renamed as the 135th (2/1st South Western) Brigade. It was sent overseas to India in December 1914 to relieve Regular Army units for service in France. The brigade remained there for the rest of the war, supplying drafts of replacements to the British units fighting in the Middle East and later complete battalions. It was reformed as 135th Infantry Brigade in the Territorial Army in 1939, again as a duplicate formation, when another European conflict with Germany seemed inevitable. During the Second World War, the brigade was active in the United Kingdom throughout its service. It was disbanded on 20 July 1944. The brigade was reformed on 1 September 1944 as part of the 45th (Holding) Division. It d ...

135 (number)
135 (one hundred ndthirty-five) is the natural number following 134 and preceding 136. In mathematics 135 is the number of partitions of 14, and the number of rooted trees with 15 nodes and height at most 2. 135 is 5-smooth, since its prime factorization is 3^3 \times 5, and a Harshad number in decimal. 135 is not, however, square-free. Using its own digits, 135 in base-10 can be expressed in operations as the sum of consecutive powers of its digits, and as a sum-product number: :135 = 1^1 + 3^2 + 5^3 :135 = (1 + 3 + 5)(1 \times 3 \times 5) 135 is the number of degrees in the internal angle of a regular eight-sided octagon. Also: *the Euler totient of 135 is 72: the degrees of an central angle in a regular pentagon. *the arithmetic mean of the divisors of 135 is 30: the degrees in a central angle of a regular dodecagon. While the central angle of a regular octagon is 135 ÷ 3 = 45 degrees, 4.5 is the harmonic mean of all eight divisors of 135. The aliquot sum of 135 is ...

Connecticut's 135th Assembly District
The one hundred thirty-fifth Connecticut House of Representatives district elects one member of the Connecticut House of Representatives. Its current representative is Anne Hughes. Before 2002, the district contained the towns of Easton, Redding and parts of Newtown and Weston; boundary changes which took effect for the 2002 election removed Newtown and part of Redding from the district and added the remaining portion of Weston. The 135th District was a safe Republican seat in the House, in part due to the lack of Democratic opposition, but an increased Democratic Party presence in recent years has changed this. 135th Street (Manhattan)
The New York City borough of Manhattan contains 214 numbered east–west streets ranging from 1st to 228th, the majority of them designated in the Commissioners' Plan of 1811. These streets do not run exactly east–west, because the grid plan is aligned with the Hudson River, rather than with the cardinal directions. Thus, the majority of the Manhattan grid's "west" is approximately 29 degrees north of true west; the angle differs above 155th Street, where the grid initially ended. The grid now covers the length of the island from 14th Street north. All numbered streets carry an East or West prefix – for example, East 10th Street or West 10th Street – which is demarcated at Broadway (Manhattan), Broadway below 8th Street (Manhattan), 8th Street, and at Fifth Avenue at 8th Street and above. The numbered streets carry crosstown traffic. In general, but with numerous exceptions, even-numbered streets are one-way eastbound and odd-numbered streets are one-way westbound. ...
