''100 Streets'' is a British drama film directed by Jim O'Hanlon and starring Idris Elba. It made its debut in the United Kingdom on 11 November 2016, before being released in American cinemas and on video-on-demand on 13 January 2017 by Samuel Goldwyn Films. Premise The film consists of three separate stories that occur contemporaneously within a one-square mile area in London. In each story, the main character must deal with the consequences of his previous actions, as each man struggles to overcome obstacles in the path to a better life. One of the characters is Max, a former rugby captain for Team England and celebrity who struggles to keep his marriage together with his estranged wife, Emily. Pippa Cross
Pippa Cross (born 13 March 1956) is an English film producer, film and television producer. Since 1980 she has overseen the production of numerous films for ITV Studios, Granada Media and her independent production company, CrossDay Productions. Life and career Cross was born and raised in Ipswich, Suffolk. Her father, Robert Cross, was an executive on the Ipswich Borough Council and played a part in creating the Ipswich Film Theatre. She began a degree at the University of Oxford in English literature in 1974, and upon graduating in 1977 she took on a job at the newly opened Wembley Conference Centre. As part of her role she organised a BAFTA Awards ceremony at the centre, which led her to pursue a career in film and television.
