Šidski Banovci Railway Station
Šidski Banovci railway station ( hr, Željeznička postaja Šidski Banovci, sr-cyr, Железничка станица Шидски Бановци) is a railway station on Novska–Tovarnik railway in Croatia. The station is operated by Croatian Railways, the state-owned railway company. It is located at the southern edge of the village of Banovci which itself was officially known as Šidski Banovci up until 1991. Historical local L213 line to Vukovar was passing on the eastern side on the village but is today out of use and in deteriorated condition. On 19 January 2012 reconstruction of the Šidski Banovci railway station was completed. It was a part of reconstruction of nine railway stations on 67 kilometers route between Vinkovci and Tovarnik-Croatia–Serbia border funded from the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance of the European Union (48%) and Croatian Government (52%). Regional rail, also known as local trains and stopping trains, are passenger rail services that operate between towns and cities. Church Of The Holy Venerable Mother Parascheva
Church of the Holy Venerable Mother Parascheva ( sh, Hram svete prepodobne majke Paraskeve, sr-cyr, Храм свете пеподобне мајке Параскеве) is a Serbian Orthodox church located in Banovci, Vukovar-Syrmia County in eastern Croatia. The neoclassical church was built in 1819. The church and its parish are under jurisdiction of the Eparchy of Srem which is based in Sremski Karlovci in neighbouring Serbia. Within the Eparchy the church in Banovci is organized within the Šid region with the seat at the Church of St. Nicholas, Šid with majority of local Banovci priests residing in Šid due to the absence of the local priestly residences in the village. Most of the other Serbian Orthodox churches in Eastern Slavonia are under the ecclesiastical jurisdiction of Eparchy of Osječko polje and Baranja. Zagreb–Belgrade Railway
The Zagreb–Belgrade railway ( sh, Pruga Zagreb-Beograd) was the Yugoslav Railways long railway line connecting the cities of Zagreb and Belgrade in SR Croatia and SR Serbia, at the time of Yugoslavia.
