Ilača Railway Station
Ilača railway station ( hr, Željezničko stajalište Ilača) is a railway station on Novska–Tovarnik railway in Croatia. The station is operated by Croatian Railways, the state-owned railway company. It is located at the southern edge of the village of Ilača. On 19 January 2012 reconstruction of the Ilača railway station was completed. It was a part of reconstruction of nine railway stations on 67 kilometer route between Vinkovci and Tovarnik-Croatia–Serbia border funded from the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance of the European Union (48%) and Croatian Government (52%). Regional rail, also known as local trains and stopping trains, are passenger rail services that operate between towns and cities. These trains operate with more stops over shorter distances than inter-city rail, but fewer stops and faster service than commuter rail. Šidski Banovci Railway Station
Šidski Banovci railway station ( hr, Željeznička postaja Šidski Banovci, sr-cyr, Железничка станица Шидски Бановци) is a railway station on Novska–Tovarnik railway in Croatia. The station is operated by Croatian Railways, the state-owned railway company. It is located at the southern edge of the village of Banovci which itself was officially known as Šidski Banovci up until 1991. Historical local L213 line to Vukovar was passing on the eastern side on the village but is today out of use and in deteriorated condition. On 19 January 2012 reconstruction of the Šidski Banovci railway station was completed. Ilača Apparitions
The Mariology of the Catholic Church, Marian Apparitions of Ilača were reported sightings of miraculous events in Croatia in 1865. This was seven years after the Lourdes apparitions. Ilača became the most important Catholic pilgrimage site in the historical region of Syrmia. Initially, church authorities tried to prevent congregations from pilgrimage. Later, it was permitted by bishop Josip Juraj Strossmayer. In 1865, a shepherd from Ilača, Petar Lazin, claimed seeing water on the middle of the field road although no rain had fallen, and that once he made a hole, water started flowing and continued thereafter. On the same night, another villager, Đuka Ambrušević saw the Mary, mother of Jesus, Virgin Mary with a child. In his dream, she told him that it was her spring, and that he must build a wall around it so that livestock could not drink from it. When he woke up, he saw the image from his dream next to his bed. Zagreb–Belgrade Railway
The Zagreb–Belgrade railway ( sh, Pruga Zagreb-Beograd) was the Yugoslav Railways long railway line connecting the cities of Zagreb and Belgrade in SR Croatia and SR Serbia, at the time of Yugoslavia. It was the route of the Orient Express service from 1919 to 1977. Electrification was finished in 1970. Vinkovci railway station ( hr, Željeznički kolodvor Vinkovci) is the railway station located in Vinkovci, on the Novska–Tovarnik railway. The railway continues to Ivankovo to the west, to Jankovci to the east, to Otok to the southeast, to Andrijaševci to the southwest, to Osijek to the northwest, and to Vukovar–Borovo Naselje to the northeast. Instrument For Pre-Accession Assistance
The Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance, or simply IPA, is a funding mechanism of the European Union. As of 2007, it replaced previous programmes such as the PHARE, ISPA, SAPARD and CARDS. Unlike the previous assistance programs, IPA offers funds to both EU candidate countries (Albania, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Turkey, Ukraine) and potential candidates (Bosnia and Kosovo). The previous IPA Regulation covering the period 2007-2013 ("IPA I") was replaced in March 2014 by a new regulation ("IPA II") covering the period 2014–2020. The overall budget allocation for IPA II is EUR 11.7bn. The new regulation streamlined the rules governing access to IPA funds for candidate countries and potential candidates. A third regulation ("IPA III") covering 2021-2027 is currently being negotiated. Vukovar-Syrmia County
Vukovar-Srijem County ( hr, Vukovarsko-srijemska županija), Vukovar-Sirmium County or Vukovar-Syrmia County, named after the eponymous town of Vukovar and the region of Syrmia, is the easternmost Croatian county. It includes the eastern parts of the region of Slavonia and the western parts of the region of Syrmia, as well as the lower Sava river basin, Posavina and Danube river basin Podunavlje. Ilača
Ilača ( hu, Illyefő) is a Settlement (Croatia), village in eastern Croatia, southeast of Vinkovci. The village is connected with the rest of the country by the D46 (Croatia), D46 state road connecting it with the town of Vinkovci and continuing into Serbia as the State Road 120 (Serbia), State Road 120 to the nearest town of Šid.
