İclal Aydın (born 14 September 1971) is a Turkish actress, writer, journalist, and TV presenter. She is best known for popular comedy family series "İki Aile". Life and career Born to a Circassian mother and a Kurdish father, Aydın's family were residents of Nevşehir at the time of her birth. The family moved to Ankara one year later due to her father's new position. She was then educated at Elazığ Anatolian High School. With her parents divorce, she returned to Ankara and spent her high school years writing and staging theatre plays. In 1989, she enrolled in theatre department of Ankara University's School of Language and History – Geography Faculty, but left the school in her second year and moved to Berlin, where she worked as a stage actress for six years. Nevşehir
Nevşehir (from the Persian compound ''Now-shahr'' meaning "new city"), formerly Neapolis (Ancient Greek: Νεάπολις) and Muşkara, is a largely modern city and the capital district of Nevşehir Province in the Central Anatolia Region of Turkey. According to the 2020 census, the population of the city is 82,110. It is from the capital Ankara and lies within the historical region of Cappadocia. The town lies at an elevation of and has a continental climate, with heavy snow in winter and great heat in summer. Although Nevşehir is close to the underground cities, fairy chimneys, monasteries, caravanserais and rock-hewn churches of Cappadocia, and has a few hotels, the modern town is not itself a tourist centre. Star TV is a Turkish nationwide TV channel. It has been owned by Ferit Şahenk's Doğuş Media Group since 2011. History Founded by Cem Uzan and Ahmet Özal in 1989 as Magic Box, Star TV is Turkey's first private TV channel. The channel started its test broadcasting on 5 May 1990. For a brief time in the early 1990s, it was called Star Magic Box because the name Star 1 was copyrighted by another media corporation. ''Vizontele'' is a 2001 Turkish comedy-drama film, written and directed by Yılmaz Erdoğan and co-directed by Ömer Faruk Sorak, based on the writer-director's childhood memories of the arrival of the first television to his village in the early 1970s. The film, which went on nationwide release on , won three Golden Orange awards and was one of the most successful Turkish films to that date. TRT 1 (''TRT One'') is the first Turkish national television channel, owned by state broadcaster TRT. Show TV is a nationwide television channel in Turkey owned by Albayrak Holding since 2018, acquired from Sadık Albayrak which in turn seized from Ciner Media Group after Turgay Ciner was forced to sell due to tax debts. ''O Hayat Benim'' (English title: ''That is my life'') is a Turkish television drama series, originally broadcast on FOX from 2014 to 2017.
