Çağdaş Bodrumspor , is a Turkish professional basketball club based in Bodrum. The club plays in the Basketbol Süper Ligi (BSL), the highest level of basketball in Turkey. History At the beginning of the 2020–21 season, a group of businesspeople from Bodrum made efforts to participate in the Turkish Basketball League by purchasing the competitive rights of an existing sports club. Discussions were held with Bandırma Kırmızı and Global Connect Travel Düzce in this regard, but no result was achieved. At the beginning of the 2021–22 season, Çağdaş Bodrumspor was established solely with the capital of Çağdaş Holding, and the club started its activities by participating in the Turkish Basketball Second League. The club, setting short-term goals of promotion to the Basketball Super League and long-term goals of participating in European tournaments, reached an agreement with Polat Kaya as the head coach, while Erkan Veyseloğlu became the club's first contracted player ...

The Basketball Super League ( tr, Basketbol Süper Ligi; BSL), also known as the Türkiye Sigorta Basketbol Süper Ligi for sponsorship reasons, is the top men's professional basketball division of the Turkish basketball league system. It replaced the former Turkish Basketball Championship (1946–1966) to become the Turkish Basketball League (TBL) until 2015 when it adopted its current name while the TBL name became exclusive to the second-tier and third-tier divisions. The BSL is administrated by the Turkish Basketball Federation (TBF) and is contested by 16 teams, with the two lowest-placed teams relegated to the second-tier TBL and replaced by the top two teams of that division. Bodrum () is a port city in Muğla Province, southwestern Turkey, at the entrance to the Gulf of Gökova. Its population was 35,795 at the 2012 census, with a total of 136,317 inhabitants residing within the district's borders. The Turkish Basketball Second League, also called TB2L, is Turkish basketball league system, the third-tier level league of professional club basketball in Turkey. The league was previously called the Turkish Basketball Third League (TB3L). Format and promotion and relegation There are a total of 15 teams participating in the league for the TB2L 2019–20 season.
