Åsa Persson
Åsa Persson (born 17 October 1983 in Osby) is a Swedish former competitive figure skater. She is the 2003 Swedish national champion and 1998 & 1999 junior national champion. She competed in the free skate at four ISU Championships – 2000 Junior Worlds in Oberstdorf, Germany; 2002 Junior Worlds in Hamar, Norway; 2002 Worlds in Nagano, Japan; and 2003 Europeans in Malmö Malmö (, ; da, Malmø ) is the largest city in the Swedish county (län) of Scania (Skåne). It is the third-largest city in Sweden, after Stockholm and Gothenburg, and the sixth-largest city in the Nordic region, with a municipal populat ..., Sweden. The World Junior Figure Skating Championships (''"World Juniors"'' or ''"Junior Worlds"'') is an annual figure skating competition sanctioned by the International Skating Union in which figure skaters within a designated age range compete for the title of World Junior champion.
