María de los Ángeles Barceló Suárez (Barcelona, Spain; born September 7, 1963) better known as Àngels Barceló is a Spanish presenter and broadcaster specialized in informative and informative programs and magazines with an extensive career in audiovisual media. Plaza de Colón (; ) is located in the encounter of Chamberí, Centro and Salamanca districts of Madrid, Spain. This plaza and its fountain commemorate the explorer Christopher Columbus, whose name in Spanish was Cristóbal Colón. Canal+ (Spanish TV Channel)
Canal+ was a Spanish commercial television channel operated by Sogecable, before its eventual sale to Telefónica. It was available on the digital satellite television and IPTV platform Movistar+. History Canal+ began its trial transmissions on June 8, 1990 and it launched as a regular channel on September 14 of the same year as a terrestrial channel in Spain. Similar to its French counterpart, the channel broadcast most of its content encrypted, forcing the usage of a decoder to view all programming on the channel properly. The Spanish version was already using the Nagravision encryption system at launch, while the French version would not implement it until two years later. In 1997, new channels using the Canal+ brand were launched in Spain, following the launch of Canal Satélite Digital. 2006 FIFA World Cup
The 2006 FIFA World Cup was the 18th FIFA World Cup, the quadrennial international Association football, football world championship tournament. PRISA Televisión, S.A.U (PRISA TV) is a pay TV company in Spain. History and profile PRISA TV was established in 1989 and controlled (as of 2007) by PRISA. Cuatro (stylized as cuatro°, "Four") is a Spanish free-to-air television channel that was launched in November 2005. Owned by Mediaset España, the Spanish subsidiary of the Italian Mediaset group, it is broadcast on TV frequencies licensed to the previous owner PRISA TV in 1990 and previously used by them for the analogue transmission of its subscription channel Canal+. José Ignacio Gabilondo Pujol (born 19 October 1942), better known as Iñaki Gabilondo, is a Spanish journalist and broadcaster. He is one of Spain's best-known news anchors. Biography The second-born in a family of nine, Gabilondo studied Philosophy and Literature with Journalism at the University of Navarra. He started his career aged 21 at Radio Popular, which later became Cadena COPE. He stayed there until 1969, when he became the director of his local Radio San Sebastián, affiliated to the public Cadena SER. Two years later, he directed the news department of Cadena SER in Seville. Carles Francino
Carles Francino Murgades (born 3 January 1958, in Barcelona) is a Spanish journalist. He started his career in Cadena SER Tarragona. In 1979 he got his first job at COPE Reus as a sports editor. Later, he joined the Tarragona studio of the COPE, which he left in 1987. In 1990 he started in the world of television and he became part of the founding team of Canal+ in Madrid. There he worked as an editor and presented the evening news bulletin, being the presenter of the first program ever broadcast in the history of the channel. In 1994 he returned to Barcelona to work at TV3, the channel where, for eleven years, he presented the evening edition (and briefly the midday edition) of Telenotícies.
