Marsiya

A marsiya (Persian: مَرْثِیَه; Urdu: مرثیہ) or marthiya (Arabic: مَرْثِيَة) is an elegiac poem written by Shia Muslims to commemorate the martyrdom and valour of Hussain ibn Ali, his family, and his companions at the battle of Karbala.
