Tesnusocarididae is an extinctfamily of remipedes and the sole member of the orderEnantiopoda. It contains two genera, the type genusTesnusocaris, and Cryptocaris, both known from the Carboniferous, with Tesnusocaris known from the Lower PennsylvanianTesnus Formation and Cryptocaris from the Middle PennsylvanianMazon Creek fossil beds.
