Cryptocaris

Cryptocaris is an extinct, monospecificgenus of remipedes in the familyTesnusocarididae. It lived in what are now the Mazon Creek fossil beds in Illinois during the Middle Pennsylvanian.

The type and only species is C. hootchi.
