The 2014–15 Philadelphia Flyers season was the 48th season for the

franchise that was established on June 5, 1967. For the second time in three years, the Flyers failed to qualify for the playoffs. The Flyers finished the season tied with the NHL record for most overtime losses in a season with 18, which was also held by the 2008–09 Tampa Bay Lightning, 2011–12 Florida Panthers, and 2013–14 New Jersey Devils.
