Arashi Wa Arashi O Yobu!
is a Japanese boy band consisting of five members formed under the Johnny & Associates talent agency. The members are Satoshi Ohno, Sho Sakurai, Masaki Aiba, Kazunari Ninomiya, and Jun Matsumoto. Arashi officially formed on September 15, 1999, in Honolulu, Hawaii, and made their debut CD on November 3, 1999. The group was initially signed to Pony Canyon and released one studio album and six singles—beginning with their 1999 eponymous debut single before moving to the Johnny's subsidiary label J Storm in 2001, which was initially set up for their succeeding releases. While their debut single sold close to a million copies, the group took a mixture of pop and alternate/contemporary approach to its music which attracted core followers, but subsequently faced commercially slow sales. Kazunari Ninomiya
, often called , is a Japanese singer, songwriter, actor, voice actor, presenter and radio host. He is a member of the Japanese idol group Arashi, group that is under agent contract with Starto Entertainment. Early life Ninomiya was born in Katsushika, Tokyo as the youngest child of his family, his sister is two years older than he is. His father and mother were both working as chefs at Hattori Nutrition College when they met, his father being a Japanese cuisine teacher, and his mother, his assistant. When Ninomiya was born, his grandfather immediately came home and named him the heir to the family's windshield wiper factory, since he was his grandfather's only grandson. Osaka-jō Hall
is a multi-purpose arena located in the Kyōbashi, Osaka, Kyōbashi area of Osaka, Japan. The hall opened in 1983 and can seat up to 16,000 people. Built on a site area of , part of its form uses stone walls, modeled after those of Osaka Castle and it won the Osaka Urban Scenery Architects Prize Special Award in 1984. is the second single and first double A-side single by Japanese boy band Arashi. The single was released on April 5, 2000 in two editions. While both the regular edition and limited edition contains two songs and its instrumentals, only the limited edition was released in the shape of a flying disc and included a set of round stickers. It reached number one on the Oricon Singles Chart and was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of Japan for shipments of 400,000 copies. The FIVB Volleyball Men's World Cup was an international volleyball competition contested by the senior men's national teams of the members of ' (FIVB), the sport's global governing body. Initially, the tournament was played in the year following the Olympic Games, except for 1973 when no tournament was held, but between 1991 and 2019, the World Cup was awarded in the year preceding the Olympic Games. "Arashi" (stylized as A・RA・SHI) is a song recorded by the Japanese boy band of the same name. It was released on November 3, 1999, by the record label Pony Canyon as the band's first single. "Arashi" was used as the theme song for Arashi's mini-drama and for the 8th World Cup of Volleyball hosted by Japan in 1999, featuring the group as supporters. is a Japanese comedy duo from Amagasaki, Hyōgo consisting of Hitoshi Matsumoto and Masatoshi Hamada. Formed in 1982, they are one of the most influential and prolific comedy duos in Japan today. They are best known for their stand-up comedy, stand-up acts, hosting numerous Japanese variety shows (such as ''Downtown no Gaki no Tsukai ya Arahende!!,'' ''Hey! Hey! Hey! Music Champ and Wednesday's Downtown'') and their sarcastic, short-tempered stage personas.
