''Hey! Hey! Hey! Music Champ'' was a Japanese music variety show on Fuji Television hosted by the comedy duo Downtown, which consists of Hitoshi Matsumoto and Masatoshi Hamada. It is a very popular show with comical hosts who like to pick on their guests. An episode usually consists of live performances (of recently released songs) from popular artists, chat segments and other fun and games. Many famous singers such as Ayumi Hamasaki, Britney Spears, Hikaru Utada, and Namie Amuro have performed almost all of their singles on this show. Japanese rock artists such as Glay, X Japan, Alice Nine, The Gazette, Nightmare, Gackt, DJ Ozma, and L'Arc-en-Ciel have also been on the show performing their hit singles as well as playing games with the hosts. Hitoshi Matsumoto
is a Japanese comedian and filmmaker. He was born in Amagasaki, Hyōgo Prefecture. He is one half of the comedy duo Downtown (owarai), Downtown, alongside Masatoshi Hamada, and is one of the most popular comedians in Japan. Matsumoto has directed several movies beginning in 2007 with ''Big Man Japan'', in several of which he also starred as the main character. He currently hosts ''Documental'' on Amazon Prime. In late 2023, the magazine Shūkan Bunshun, ''Shukan Bunshun'' ran a story that Matsumoto had engaged in sexual assault at parties. In early 2024 in response to the allegations, Matsumoto suspended public appearances to focus on a defamation trial against the publisher of the magazine. SS501
SS501 (currently promoting as Five O One) is a South Korean boy band consisting of five members: Kim Hyun-joong, Heo Young-saeng, Kim Kyu-jong, Park Jung-min (singer), Park Jung-min and Kim Hyung-jun. They debuted in 2005 with the Extended play, EP ''Warning'', which included their first number one song, "Never Again". In 2007, SS501 entered the Japanese market with the maxi single Kokoro (SS501 song), ''Kokoro'', which debuted at number five on the Oricon, Oricon chart. Iron Chef
is a Japanese television cooking show produced by Fuji Television. The series, which premiered on October 10, 1993, is a stylized cook-off featuring guest chefs challenging one of the show's resident "Iron Chefs" in a timed cooking battle built around a specific theme ingredient. is a Japanese singer-songwriter and actor from Nagasaki. He debuted in 1990 with the single "Tsuioku no Ame no Naka". Fukuyama is represented by the agency Amuse, Inc. Kara (; ; often stylized in all caps) is a South Korean girl group formed by DSP Media in 2007.
