SS501
SS501 (currently promoting as Five O One) is a South Korean boy band consisting of five members: Kim Hyun-joong, Heo Young-saeng, Kim Kyu-jong, Park Jung-min (singer), Park Jung-min and Kim Hyung-jun. They debuted in 2005 with the Extended play, EP ''Warning'', which included their first number one song, "Never Again". In 2007, SS501 entered the Japanese market with the maxi single Kokoro (SS501 song), ''Kokoro'', which debuted at number five on the Oricon, Oricon chart. The following year, in 2008, they became the first South Korean artists to win the award for Best New Artist at the Japan Gold Disc Awards. SS501 has released one studio album and seven EPs in Korean, and two studio albums and three EPs in Japanese. Heo Young-saeng (; born: November 3, 1986) is a South Korean entertainer. He is the vocalist of the boy band SS501. He's also the leader of Double S 301. In 2010, Heo left DSP Media, who managed him as part of SS501, and moved to B2M Entertainment, with bandmate Kim Kyu-jong, to pursue his solo career. Double S 301
Double S 301 (SS301) is a subgroup of the South Korean boy band SS501. It is composed of three SS501 members: Heo Young-saeng, Kim Kyu-jong and Kim Hyung-jun. Double S 301 made their unofficial debut under DSP Media in 2008 with the EP, "UR Man," as "SS501 Special Project Group" in the absence of SS501 members, Kim Hyun-joong and Park Jung-min. In 2015, the three members signed under CI Entertainment, who rebranded the group as Double S 301 before releasing their official debut album, Eternal 5, the following year. Member Hyungjun enlisted for mandatory military service in 2017, temporarily putting the group on hiatus. Kim Hyun-joong (; born June 6, 1986) is a South Korean actor, singer and songwriter. He is a member of the boy band SS501 and played roles in the Korean dramas ''Boys Over Flowers'' (2009) and '' Playful Kiss'' (2010).
