Zygfryd Szołtysik
Zygfryd Ludwik Szołtysik (born 24 October 1942) is a Polish former professional Association football, footballer who played as a midfielder, spending most of his career with Górnik Zabrze. He carried the nickname 'Zyga' or 'Mały', contributed by his small posture. Szołtysik emerged as football player in a Polish club Zryw Chorzów notorious, at that time, for an excellent work with young players. He was soon visited by representatives of Górnik Zabrze and contracted to the club, in 1962. Having spent 16 years in Zabrze, the time interrupted merely for a season in Valenciennes FC, he accounted for 395 matches in Polish league, which makes him the club leader of that classification. The total number of games for Górnik's colors exceeds 500 matches. He was a member of a team which claimed seven titles in the Polish Ekstraklasa (1963–1967, 1971, 1972), six victories in the Polish Cup, and the only European final ever achieved by a Polish football club (1970). Sucha Góra, Bytom
Sucha Góra (German Language, German: ''Trockenberg'', see also Sucha Góra, Bytom#Etymology and other names, other names) is the northernmost Bytom#Districts, district of Bytom, Poland (from 1975; formerly a district of Radzionków and prior to that its own Gmina, municipality). History Sucha Góra was established as a mining colony of Piekary Rudne (Now a part of Tarnowskie Góry) in 1778. Calamine (mineral), Calamine and Dolomite (mineral), Dolomite were mined in Sucha Góra. Valenciennes FC
Valenciennes Football Club (; commonly known as Valenciennes, VA or VAFC) is a French professional football club based in Valenciennes. The club was founded in 1914 and currently play in Championnat National, the third tier of French football. Valenciennes plays its home matches at the recently built Stade du Hainaut located within the city. Valenciennes was founded under the name Union Sportive de Valenciennes Anzin (USVA). The club spent over 80 years playing under the name before switching to its current name. Valenciennes has spent an almost equal amount of time playing in Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 having played 40 seasons in the first division and 36 seasons in the second division. The club has never won the first division, but has won Ligue 2 on two occasions. Kazimierz Górski
Kazimierz Klaudiusz Górski (2 March 1921 – 23 May 2006) was a Polish professional football manager. He was also a football player, capped once for Poland. Under his tenure, Poland finished third at the 1974 FIFA World Cup and won two Olympic medals; gold in 1972 and silver in 1976. He is often regarded as the best Polish football manager of all time. Playing career Górski was born in Lwów, Second Polish Republic (nowadays Lviv, Ukraine). He played as a forward in several Polish football teams: RKS Lwów, Spartak Lviv, Dynamo Lviv, Legia Warsaw. His football nickname was "Sarenka" ("Fawn"). His successful career was interrupted by World War II and it took until 1948 before he participated in his only international match, a game between Poland and Denmark (8–0 loss).
