Zbigniew Włodkowski
Zbigniew Włodkowski (born 30 April 1961 in Pisz) is a Polish politician. He was elected to the Sejm on 25 September 2005, getting 2842 votes in 35 Olsztyn district as a candidate from the Polish People's Party list. He was MP from 2005 to 2007 and from 2011 to 2015. The 5th Sejm (lower house of the Parliament of Poland, Polish legislature) was elected on 25 September 2005 at the 2005 Polish parliamentary election. The term lasted between 19 October 2005 and 4 November 2007, two years before mandatory end of its four year term, as the chamber decided to Dissolution of parliament, dissolve itself on 7 September 2007. Polish People's Party
The Polish People's Party (, PSL) is a conservative political party in Poland. It is currently led by Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz. Its history traces back to 1895, when it held the name People's Party, although its name was changed to the present one in 1903. During the Second Polish Republic, the Polish People's Party was represented by a number of parties that held its name. They were all supportive of agrarian policies, although they spanned from the left-wing to the centre-right on the political spectrum. It was reformed to the People's Party shortly after the Sanacja regime took power. It took part into the formation of Polish government-in-exile during the World War II, and after the war it was again reformed into the Polish People's Party, and soon after into the United People's Party. Pisz (pronounced , previously also ''Jańsbork'', ) is a historic town in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship in northern Poland, with a population of 19,466 (2016). It is the seat of Pisz County. Pisz is situated at the junction of Lake Roś and the Pisa River, in the region of Masuria. Etymology The name Pisz originates from the word ''pisa'', meaning "swamp" in the ancient Prussian language, owing to the muddy water from nearby Lake Roś.
